  1. Why, once an invoice is created in CCH, doesn't the default highlight go to the most recently created invoice? It goes to the first invoice created in that day so you have to scroll up to the relevant invoice. It should default to the most recently created invoice - for more logical!

    Sorry for the rant but I'm doing loads of invoice and I keep having to scroll up!!

  2. Ex-partners still appear in drop down searches even though the linked employee record is inactive. Having an inactive option in the Internal > Partners area would allow you to stop this.

  4. The ability for Xero to pull all invoices created automatically and also to have them as paid automatically in CCH when marked as paid in Xero.

    It is currently very time consuming and too easy to miss payments meaning clients that have get paid get chased.

    When we took on CCH we were told from the outset that it was something that was being looked at (one of the reasons we chose the software), a year down the line I have heard nothing further on the matter.

  5. Can we please have the ability to save attachments straight into Document Management when we open up an email within CCH. If the original user does not saved them down/the emails are automatically saved down it is a very long process to save it down separately

I think it would be useful if you could change the order of Extra field groups and extra fields within the groups, I also think it would be useful if we could have extra fields that we can assign based on the entity of the client rather than being forced to have the extra fields on all clients

  7. We have recently added a Tax Manager responsibility to the Assignments (Main) tab for each client to use to review WIP. We would like the ability to add Tax Manager (or other responsibility names) to added as an option on the Top 10 and Aged WIP widgets on the CCH home screen please. Currently only Client Partner, Client Manager, Assignment Partner and Assignment Manager are available. (See photo attached).
    I see there was a similar suggestion entitled Responsibility Types posted previously which had 3 votes but has since been closed.

  8. The requirements of ISA315 require risk to be reviewed at a granular level resulting in the Identified Audit Risk Database being used for ALL risks not just significant risks. Therefore tests are assigned in response to the risks in this database. It would be great if a report could be run to see which standard tests within standard programmes have not been assigned to identified risks so that they can be easily identified and tailored out (or assigned to a risk if the link has just been missed!)

  9. It is not possible to enter a cessation date which is outside of the tax year - for example, for a fixed term bond for which we know the date of maturity. It would be useful to be able to enter this.

  10. Please expand the existing consolidation functionality in Accounts Production so it can also be used for charities. This would be beneficial to our clients.

  11. Redesign of the Audit notes system - needs more integration with the general interface so that it is more obvious there are new or outstanding audit notes.

    Perhaps some sort of live notification/inbox in the bottom system bar of the software window (where the login, date/time is located)

  12. At present all computations are entirely independent, so changes to a prior year do not flow through to later ones. this means computations can get out of synch.

    It would be useful to have the option of carrying closing balances forward - ideally as a function in year one, so when you've changed that year you can cascade the changes onward.

    This has come up particularly as we have a new client where we are working on two years simultaneously, and now have to re-key all the provisions, capital allowances and so on in the later year. IT would also…

  13. Currently in order for a user to have access to change their central password or SMTP password( which is required to be able to send bills), they require a task permission that would give them access to ALL users passwords. Could a separate permission be used to allow them to edit these details on their own record but not other users?

  14. Every year, we need to update our client allocations (for promotions, loss of staff, general reshuffle).
    It would be helpful if we could export our current client allocation to excel, make the tweaks, then import it back.
    It needs to go to excel to give an overview of each individuals' allocation. I imagine it would be an easy fix as the 'Partnership Statement Import/Export' function could be copied.

  16. Certain entities, such as offshore trusts, do not use the 30-day matching rule. It would be good to select to turn this off on certain dividend and CGT lists.

  18. It would be helpful for reporting if the comments on an expense sheet would be included in the export. We use Twinfield and so would also need the option to limit the comments box to 40 characters or for the export to cut it at 40 characters

  19. Currently CCH company secretarial produces minutes in .rtf format.

    When uploaded to the document centre, CCH cannot convert this to PDF using the button on the software to then push through One click. CCH doc centre can however convert .docx files toPDF.

    Please therefore give us the ability to save .docx files from CCH Co Sec

  20. The "Activate Working Papers WP" Icon should be a tasked permission and not availabler to everyone to activate as once it is activated, it cannot be reversed.
