  1. In respect to the Contact Records that are generated as part of a client Tax Return (e.g. employer contacts/bank contacts etc etc).

    Can there be an indicator within the record that shows that the record is linked to a Client Tax Return and which Client it is, with a potential report that also shows this information

    Reason is that when you try to delete a contact, if the contact is linked to a Tax Return, you cannot delete the record. It would be useful to understand the relationship between the contact and Tax Return to enable efficient database management and…

  2. It would be great to be able to choose extra fields with "multiple" options on the client search screen. They could be displayed as "optionA, optionB, optionC" for example (with character limits if required).

  3. Would it be possible to have the option to turn off the duplication of receipt number check when uploading cash transactions or making transfers ? Our team are currently experiencing the below issue:

    1. When posting, using the CSV spreadsheet to CCH, any 2 receipts with similar references and similar amount
      Gets confused by CCH and will only post one of the receipts and then come up with an error message of
      Duplicate posting.

    2. If you then try to post the other receipts separately, with the same reference, it won’t let you. Even when you
      Alter the reference slightly it won’t…

  5. When setting up Extra Fields for a client or contact, we have the ability to mark them as mandatory. However, the application of the mandatory status is applicable to the entire field and not whether it is a Client or a Contact field. For example, you may want an "industry type" as mandatory for a client, but not for a contact however, you'd still want to capture that information in both types of records. At the moment you create the extra field and make it applicable by ticking client and / or contact and then you tick the Mandatory tick…

  6. The character limit for a company name on Companies House is 160 characters (inc spaces), however on CCH we can only enter 60 characters. Please can the limited on central be increased?

  7. As a new user to CCH but nevertheless an experienced use of accounts and tax production software I expect to have to refer to user guides to learn how the process works in this application.

    I could apply this following request to any of the modules.

    Most of the CCH user guides I have read appear to be written by programmers for their fellow programmers and lack the clarity for a user in a real live environment.

    My request is that all user guides should contain screenshot images of the processes to be used and followed as this will help…

  8. To have the ability to see what WIP is being rolled forward on a bill once it is submitted, you can currently see the Bill amount and write off amount but there is no way of seeing what a manager is rolling forward. thsi doesn't give a clear picture to those authorising.

  10. To convert a client to a contact instead of getting error "unable to do so because of assignments".
    We still need to AML directors/shareholders of limited companies, who no longer have self assessment or wish to do their tax return themselves. Currently have to close the client and then create as a contact.

  11. We would like the ability to assign a Task to more than 1 employee. Currently only 1 employee can be assigned a task but can we have the possibility to add more than 1 person?

  12. Would you like Wolters Kluwer to look at integrating CCH Central and/or CCH iFirm into Microsoft 365 so you can send documents directly to OneDrive and use that as a preferred document storage solution

  13. Can we have configuration keys to enable extra fields to be visible for field chooser in these 2 areas too:
    - Contacts (find contact screen) like we have for clients
    - Jobs (job management) like we have for workflows

  14. Encrypt or hides the SQL sa password contained in the lookup.xml file present on every copy of CCH Central.

    This is a huge oversight. Meaning any of our users can easily obtain our SQL sa password stored in plain text on every deploy folder and potentially destroy our SQL CCH DB.

  15. When you create a template in CCH which has database fields you are also able to see extra fields in this list.
    If you put your extra fields in groups they no longer appear.
    We would like all extra fields in all groups to be added to the database field drop down

  18. Is there any way where emails created from CCH Central can include an encryption option? Currently, we use Egress in Outlook, however in CCH, that function seems to be nor available when an email is generated from CCH.

  19. Currently, the 'weekly' algorithm only allows you to choose Wk1 / Wk2 ... Wk 50 / Wk 52 etc. It would be more helpful if the algorithm could relate to a particular date e.g. 'week-ending' 4-Apr and it then repeated weekly by date moving forward.
