Tax Return : Contact Records (Maintenance)
In respect to the Contact Records that are generated as part of a client Tax Return (e.g. employer contacts/bank contacts etc etc).
Can there be an indicator within the record that shows that the record is linked to a Client Tax Return and which Client it is, with a potential report that also shows this information

Replace 'Fixed assets' with '=AP("#term3")' in PPA note 100
On the Prior Period Adjustment note (note100), the term 'Fixed assets' on the BS tab, cell C8 to be replaced by the formula =AP("#term3"), as used in the SOFP.
This would then use the narrative 'Non-current assets' where applicable, instead of Fixed assets.

Support Cases
When submitting a support ticket please place the final SUBMIT button at the top of the screen. We know the button is conveniently placed at the bottom (and often off screen) after you display a list of possible solutions so that we will miss it and thus the ticket is not submitted. However this is really just wasting our time when we realise the ticket is not submitted.

Bulk update of rate used on assignments
We have an assignment which staff use record their long distance travel time. We need to set the rate on the assignment - which has been already been allocated to over 1,000 clients - to a specific rate which every employee has on their account.
It would be useful if there was a way of doing this via bulk update or something similar

Change to Procedure Central.dbo.GN_RetrieveTeamEmploy
When searching for owners in the Responsibility tab, it is currently not possible to enter a combined first and last name.
Could you please update the stored procedure responsible for returning these results to support combined name searches? For reference, I’ve included a snippet of the SQL procedure currently in use, along with two additional lines that illustrate how I would approach filtering results to support this functionality as if I was the change owner.

Add more than 240 characters in the 'comments' box on workflows
Currently, if you add more than 240 characters using the 'comments' option to a workflow progress box, no warning appears.
If you go into & out of the comments box, the full comment remains.
However, if you close down the workflow & open it again, any characters beyond 240 are not saved.
I use this for noting if I have chased the client for records etc & to keep track of progress, but noticed that some of my longer comments were finishing mid-sentence when I went back to them.

Fixed Asset Register
If an incorrect method of depreciation is entered when setting up the asset, despite there being a drop-down box to amend the method, the only way to correct this is to delete the asset and re-enter.

In pick list on workflow view don't include inactive workflows in the choice
When you have the table on one of your views there is a pick list in the bottom right. The list includes all workflows, even those that are inactive.
Please could those be hidden if there is a tick in the maintenance screen to make them inactive. It would hide unused workflows and previous versions that are not needed.

Be able to filter (eg office) on PT Batch update workflow and show the client name
You can batch update a PT workflow using Maintenance - Central workflow - Personal Tax - Batch update workflow but when you choose the step you want to update/the result you are just shown a list of client codes and you can't tell who the client is and aren't able to filter this by office or any other parameter.
The Batch assign workflow to Tax Returns option has a filter screen initially and then it shows the client name next to the code. Can we please have the same on the Batch update workflow option? It is impossible to sign…

SBA - date of eligibility for allowances

Frequently we find we have additions on which we don't claim SBA because they are not yet in use. However, a date is required so an estimate is used. Once the year has been rolled forward this date cannot be changed to the correct one.

Have better reporting of missing timesheets
When you have an end date on your stationed record for an office, department etc, the current missing timesheet report does not pick up if you have missing timesheets within the start and end dates.
This can especially be an issue if you have hundreds of employees, daily timesheets and a bulk change of departments.Daily timesheets are quite often not completed, submitted etc. on the same day they are for, so any change of departments can create a risk of missing timesheets.

ability to see multiple Extra details on the client search screen where "allow multiple" has been selected for the extra field
It would be great to be able to choose extra fields with "multiple" options on the client search screen. They could be displayed as "optionA, optionB, optionC" for example (with character limits if required).

Client approvals
The software should be more streamlined in sending documents for approval, obtaining that approval and recording it on the system and then permitting the submission of those documents on the clients’ behalf.
This should apply to Accounts production, corporation tax and personal tax at least.
I appreciate users may have their own methods but what seems missing is a specific ‘send for approval’ and marking of ‘approval given’. If One lick is used then this should flow back to populate an approved box.

Mandatory Field Settings : Client vs Contact Record
When setting up Extra Fields for a client or contact, we have the ability to mark them as mandatory. However, the application of the mandatory status is applicable to the entire field and not whether it is a Client or a Contact field. For example, you may want an "industry type" as mandatory for a client, but not for a contact however, you'd still want to capture that information in both types of records. Remove Completed Jobs from Assignment Search and Job Management Homepage
An assignment search currently displays completed Jobs (even though the 'include completed jobs' box at the bottom of page is not ticked. Please could this be rectified as it's making managing reviewing open Jobs very difficult.
The same occurs in the Job Management homepage - completed Jobs are included.

Print driver for CCH document management
To have a print driver that will allow printing of documents straight to CCH document filer into the client/folder structure. At moment single sheets printed to pdf (for presentation to upload to cch gateway) are saved as pddf to desktop and then uploaded to cch. A print driver would bridge that gap and reduce clicks.
