  1. Would it be possible to have the option to turn off the duplication of receipt number check when uploading cash transactions or making transfers ? Our team are currently experiencing the below issue:

    1. When posting, using the CSV spreadsheet to CCH, any 2 receipts with similar references and similar amount
      Gets confused by CCH and will only post one of the receipts and then come up with an error message of
      Duplicate posting.

    2. If you then try to post the other receipts separately, with the same reference, it won’t let you. Even when you
      Alter the reference slightly it won’t…

  3. We would like the ability to assign a Task to more than 1 employee. Currently only 1 employee can be assigned a task but can we have the possibility to add more than 1 person?

  4. In order to clear an ex employee's notes, you must re-enable their timesheet and give them back an Audit security group. We should just be able to clear their notes - it is normal for people to leave a company and there is not logic to needing to reactivate their accounts in order to clear notes they have made.

  5. Would you like Wolters Kluwer to look at integrating CCH Central and/or CCH iFirm into Microsoft 365 so you can send documents directly to OneDrive and use that as a preferred document storage solution

  6. Could we have a "Working Notes" Area like we do in Personal Tax for users to enter notes alongside the data entry - file notes only, not to appear on the comp.

  7. Particularly in charity accounts, often notes will span two pages and this can be unhelpful when comparing one year with another when the comparative details are on the next page. Sometimes this can then lead to the next note also being split over two pages.

    In this situation, the solution is to make the note local and add a page break at the top of the page. This, however, makes the page a local format which then does not benefit from master pack updates until it is reverted to master.

  10. Allow documents to be created via "create" button from the global document centre onto clients/into client library rather than requiring you to go into the client first, navigate to the client document centre tab first - if nothing else being able to open a identical screen that doesn't let you add something to the client library is a bit confusing.

Organisations that show how they are reporting on their business activities and their impact on society and the environment is becoming increasingly important. Would it be useful for Wolters Kluwer to provide a comprehensive tool that provides expert guidance to companies to help meet regulatory requirements to support sustainability efforts and manage ESG risks efficiently.

  12. Would you value an add on to CCH tax modules that automatically spots opportunities for you to advise your clients on where they can make savings on tax. This would allow you and your firm to either begin to offer tax planning and advisory, or streamline and simply our current tax planning/advisory offering.

  13. Currently when submitting a CT600 if the HMRC servers are busy the current CCH advice is to close the screen after 4 minutes and wait for the email response from HMRC then update the CT600 status manually.

    Could CCH change so when submitting a CT600 if no response is received from HMRC after a few minutes the software would set the status to pending, inform us to check again later and allow us to exit the online filing screen and then allow us to query the HMRC servers again for a response until either an accepted or rejected status is…

  14. Would like to hide some reports from the list available to use
    eg debtor statements has 9 listed but would only like to show the two we currently use
    Aware we can delete them but they may be of use at a later date, a few have MYOB & CCH which may use as a template in future too

  15. We have few employees working from home and doing bookkeeping for us. They don’t have access to CCH. Now we want them to punch the timesheet as well on weekly basis. We want to do this by importing and exporting the timesheets on CCH. So, by this we have up to date timesheet for all of the clients and can create the invoices more accurately.

  16. CCH Practice - a function to start recording time spent on client accounts. For example, once a client file is opened, then option to start the clock and record amount of minutes spent. Then when closed, add notes for what was done - chargeable or not.

  17. Record commentary on accounts and tax returns for clients. Ability to have a cloud recording tool like LOOM.com (https://www.loom.com/)

    The idea is to record a commentary for clients to view along with accounts sent for approval, by going through the pages of accounts and tax return, explaining the figures and referring to any workings. Then send with accounts for them to view via a link to the Cloud site. Can also be sent via CCH Central.

  18. Currently AP brings the main headings into the P&L as income and expense rows, but each item of expenditure is entered as an analysis item instead of a child row. This means that we are unable to add analysis of items on the DPL for the tax comp.

    For example, an Entertainment cost could contain both allowable and disallowable items. Before we used the AP link we would show the Entertainment cost as a child row in the DPL and then insert an analysis so the split for HMRC was clear. Now we link with AP we can no longer…

  19. PIN numbers should be stored / accessible in our online CCH account by the superuser, as we have to wait for it to be emailed to us if there is ever a glitch.

  20. When the WF is used to generate emails, it would be useful to be able to copy in specific CCH users to notify them that emails have been sent to clients.

    The copied in users are then pre-warned that client may contact them regarding the email that has just been sent.
