I would find it very beneficial to have a debtors balance on the client search home screen.

More obvious indicator of clients that are on hold.
We need a more obvious indicator of clients that are on hold due to debt. Please can the assignment status show on job management?
Please can you also make the "Account Status" field visible in the Find Contacts search screen as well as Find Clients.

Audit Trail for Document Security
Ref : CCH Case 08929091
We recently had a situation where all our document security access was removed for all staff and they were unable to access anything in the document center for all clients.
I uploaded a copy of our database to CCH support so that it could be investigated, but was told that currently CCH do not audit document security, so there is no way of seeing who made the change.
This seems like a big GDPR gap, and I am raising this as a concern and ask that this be reviewed and considered for a future release.

In advanced search on the client screen where the UTR and NI Number are populated on a client record show the information on the screen to allow it to be exported. The fields are populated on the normal client search screen but when you change it to do an "advanced" search the data shows as blank.

When will CCH Corporation Tax acknowledge the existence of the Corporate Interest Restriction
The Corporate Interest Restriction has been part of the UK Corporation Tax System since 2017. The legislation is complex and the effects need to be tracked across groups and over the course of years. Yet, CCH Corporation Tax doesn't appear to even acknowledge its existence? How can this product claim to be any sort of appropriate package for preparing corporation tax returns if it does not even include boxes to enter the CIR adjustments?

SA109 and SA107 reporting urgent requirement
In CCH Central/Reporting, please add urgently the ability to report on whether pages SA109 and/or SA107 have been completed. This is required in connection with identifying which clients are deferred for MTD IT and will be required this year and for the next 2 tax years at least. MTD SQL Report Enhancement Requirement for April 26
We have used your MTD SQL query from your feed details: https://help.wolterskluwer.co.uk/Customers/s/article/CCH-Personal-MTD-for-IT-new-report.
However the excel output being produced to identify MTD cases may not be complete as if your clients had a new source in 2024/25 and that didn't exceed the £50k limit, HMRC guidance suggests the following: If the sole trade or property income you declare on your tax return relates to a new source of income which started in the year, the figure reported will need to be adjusted in order to compare 12 months’ worth of income against the MTD mandation threshold.

Raising Bulk Bills
On the bulk invoicing wizard we sometimes require options whereby we may generate an invoice on an estimate basis and have the option to add a miscellaneous charge to the same invoice. VAT would be applicable on to the estimate charge but not the miscellaneous charge.
At present the bulk invoicing wizard does not have the option of writing off amounts. In summary, it would be great if the options we need on the bulk invoicing wizard should mirror the options we have available when generating individual invoices.

Repeat billing automatically allocates WIP to the next open job in the job schedule
Repeat billing automatically allocates WIP to the next open job in the job schedule - please see case number 08881244. Currently when a bill is repeated it is allocated against the previous job (that the original bill was raised against) that has since been closed, rather than the current open job.

Please can Homepage be rectified so that homepage ‘Posted WIP items’ displays past 6 months as it was before.Homepage is currently only showing in ‘posted WIP items’ 4 months ie Aug25 to Nov25 (where is Dec25, Jan26?) so if the system is only supposed to display past 6 months records (as per in case number 08873824 solution notes) I would expect this to be Aug25 to Jan26. (see attached for details)

Reporting on basis period transition
We have been unable to find a way to extract a list of clients who have an entry in boxes 16.1 or 73.1 on their returns - relating to profit/loss on the transition part of the basis period, for partnerships and sole traders respectively.
I raised the case with support, who advised me to bring it up here as there's no way to report on that in the system. I have also been unable to find these entries in the database, so if there is an easy enough way to extract this information using SQL Server, please just let me…

Set budgets in minutes rather than whole hours
It would be useful for us to customise the "hours" box in a job to be a part of an hour rather than just whole numbers.

Use the correct user record when using auto submission on a PT workflow
When you use the auto submit functionality it uses the workflow creator user record to submit the return to HMRC and not the person moving it to that step. (That user name also shows on the tax return status within the return as having submitted the return). This is misleading and causes auto submission failure where the user has left and security permissions removed or permissions were removed/not held.

Bulk Create Employee Timesheets
It would be very useful to be able to bulk create employee timesheets so that at the end of a week or month when you know individuals haven't done their timesheets, you can bulk create those that are missing, rather than having to go into each employee and create separately.

Losses, CAs, etc should roll forward automatically when an amendment is made in prior year
We amended 2023 and that changed the loss c/f and the capital allowances c/f position.
I expected CCH to automatically update 2024 with the new b/f figures but it didn't and there is no way to force it to do so. Manual override is required.
Request: that CCH be updated to allow changed c/f figures to automatically update in the following year. Other software has done this for decades.

Ability to alter the default Delivery Option in Defaults
When a new client is created in our system, the value assigned to the delivery options in the Defaults tab is always post and this has to be manually changed after the creation of the client.
We've been asked to make Email the default when a client is created instead of post but I've been told this is not a setting we are able to change from Post at present.
