  1. When creating a PDF from a word document stored in the document centre the only option we have is to choose where this document is saved. It would be useful to have the option to give this PDF file a name or for it to at least retain the name of the document converting from. Upon creation of a PDF it then resets all of the search parameters in document centre, which means having to do the search again to locate the PDF created and to rename it, could it not retain the current search parameters?

  2. Can we please have the ability to save attachments straight into Document Management when we open up an email within CCH. If the original user does not saved them down/the emails are automatically saved down it is a very long process to save it down separately

  3. When needing to send standard forms for completion (64-8 or new payroll starter for example), there is no option to add from the practice library within the attaching function of a OneClick message. This means you either have to add a blank copy into the client DM (waste of disk space) or save outside of CCH to add (risk having an old version of the document). It would be easier to either:
    a) Add publish to OneClick button from the practice library
    b) have the option within add attachment on OneClick message to add from practice library

  4. when there are a lot of documents, it takes a while to scroll down to the folder I want to look in, so to be able to collapse all folders and then straightaway see the folder I want would be more effiicient.

  5. On creating a mail merge document, as a huge number of clients do not have access to MS Word, can they be converted to PDF on creation to email out. Also it would be useful to be able to attach to an email template for bulk issue. Were advised by Support to raise the PDF creation.

  6. I NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTES TO MAKE DM MORE PRACTICAL!!!

    Currently when an email is received from a client by user1 who file the email in DM and then forward the same email to use2 (without making any changes), the email is filed again automatically. If user2 then forward it to user3 to action, this email is filed again. User3 will respond to the same email to user2 who will then respond to user1 once the work have been completed.   7. When emails auto save into DM it would be useful to be able to split out any attachments and save these as a separate document - only currently able to dril into the email trail locating the document and re uploading the document separately into DM

  9. When filing emails it brings up all contacts when searching but doesnt have the option to 'exclude closed' - could this be added as it would save having to trawl through lots of 'smiths'!

  11. Most documents scanned via a photocopier are signed accounts and tax returns that do not need to be OCR.
    Can the OCR be turned off and an OCR Tick Box option be added to the Homepage Document Inbox "Edit Details" window, much the same as the option when scanning from a desktop scanner?

  12. The scan quality can drop drastically when using the Scan function. This does not happen when the same pdf document is uploaded into DM directly.
    Can we have the ability to drag and drop pdf documents in the Scan area where we only want to use the splitting function and not the OCR function which reduces the quality please.

  13. Something that will prevent a lot of headache for your clients going forward! AutoSave will be enabled by default for a lot of people when migrating to new versions of Office, currently trying to upload or checkin when AutoSave is enabled does nothing.

  15. If a document is uploaded to multiple client codes and then a task is created, the task does not show up on task lists, only on the documents inbox.
    Tasks only show up on the task lists if a document is uploaded to one code, the task created and then the second client code added.
    This increases the likelihood of documents going missing as most staff only use the task list not the documents in box.
    We have 'lost' several documents as a result of this as staff do not always upload and add the task in the right order…

  16. Would it be possible to only display the most recent linked email in the main search results rather than every one? The previous emails can be seen by clicking on the link number in any case.

  18. At the moment any word documents added via the Documents tab is being saved as a .doc document. Would it be possible to change to save as .docx? Attach screenshot to illustrate.

  19. We are producing documentation that is leaving the company, being processed by clients and then returned. Can standard reports be bar coded, so when they are returned to the organisation, our scanning solution can recognise what the document is and file accordingly. Massive scope for time savings on this request.
