  1. It would be useful to be able to enter a billing explanation during the billing wizard rather than having to exit and edit the bill amounts again to access the feature.

  2. I want to have the Accounts Status field in smart reports to have the ability to show a drop down when running reports to show open or closed or all. At the moment this is not possible and would like to get this raised.

  3. Introduce the ability to select several bills and change the posting date in bulk. It is currently only possible to do this for one bill at a time but when you are sending thousands of bills each month and approvals aren't done immediately you might need to update the date on hundreds at a time which just isn't possible with the manual way it currently has to be done

  4. Introduce the ability to have more than one accounts payable contact against a client.
    We have a large number of clients where a Director will want to receive copies of bills but also wants copies of bills to be sent to their accounts payable department. This has been possible in alternative software's that we have looked at

  5. We have a lot of sales invoices that change each month/quarter, it would be very useful to be able to import our sales invoices into CCH by csv in a similar way to the Xero sales import process.

  6. Ability to remove the words Estimate or Miscellaneous Charge from all new Invoices so that all invoice templates are blank with the option of no text at all.

    When raising an Invoice there are descriptions such as Total Time , Estimate or Miscellaneous Charge that appear in part 3 of the Billing Wizard. These are hard coded and as such I would like to see these altered to allow removal of all text .
    Could there be an update rolled out so companies can opt out of any description text appearing at all .

  7. We have few employees working from home and doing bookkeeping for us. They don’t have access to CCH. Now we want them to punch the timesheet as well on weekly basis. We want to do this by importing and exporting the timesheets on CCH. So, by this we have up to date timesheet for all of the clients and can create the invoices more accurately.

  8. It should not be possible to send out £0 bills (write offs) to clients or at the very least there should be a setting that can be ticked to disallow this.
    Currently you have to rely on Accountants changing the method at stage 3 to Post and not email to prevent them being sent out but the Accountants don't actually send the bills so they don't pay much attention and can't be trusted to do this! There's also a big risk of human error here and on a number of occasions £0 bills have been sent out and we've had…

  9. We would like to be able to set WIP limits for certain clients. This would then flag up when that certain limit has been reached.

  10. Expense attachments should be downloadable/exportable from CCH.
    When an employee attaches receipts to their expense claims, you should be able to press 'Export' in the ribbon and it export both the spreadsheet of details and all of the linked attachments. We need this in order to upload the information to our financial management system

  11. I would like to be able to set up an assignment which has specific jobs attached to it so when it is added to a client, the jobs automaically add.
    For example, every client has an admin assignment to which we always add 3 specific jobs. It would make the client set up process simpler if i could add the jobs to the assignment template so they add in automatically.

  12. When raising an invoice and using the 'estimate to complete' option, please can any jobs that have been closed be removed from the list? For example, we have an assignment called 'Monthly Accounts' and then there is a job under this assignment for every month of the year. We are over a year into using CCH and the list of every job is getting longer! in 4 years time, we are going to have to scroll through 4 years of monthly jobs when raising an 'estimate to complete' on an invoice which is not very user friendly!

  13. Can we add functionality that allows users to pre schedule the running of standard CCH reports that are used on frequent basis so that they can be auto generated & saved out for users to access at the appropriate time. This could be a significant time & cost saving for all firms by removing the need for users to spend time manually generating each time e.g. daily / weekly / monthly etc.

  14. Our invoice numbering was reset due to a fault with Central and when we restored the numbering sequence to match our original invoices, the invoices that were created afterwards don't sort correctly in Full Billing History.

    So instead of them following eg 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc (in ascending order) they might look like 5, 1, 2, 3, 4 where 5 is an invoice after the reset.

  16. When we create assignments the assignment partner and assignment manager are immediately populated at assignment level. This over rides the assignment manager visible on the find client screen which has been entered under team responsibility which is where we enter the user roles. Can we have the ability to either switch off certain user roles or the pre-population at assignment levels be stopped or be able to specify if we want user roles to be set at either at client responsibility level or assignment level.

  18. Could you look into an issue I've been having recently where I can't generate PDFs of bills from the Bills Ready to Send section (either individually or in bulk)? I can generate PDFs of the same bill(s) if I go into each client individually in the Bills tab which is quite time-consuming if I have a lot to print.

    Generating PDFs from the Bills Ready to Send has always been possible until the last few weeks when error messages have been thrown up ("failed" and "unsafe macro") and our IT department has been involved without success. Unfortunately, I can't upload…

  20. We would like the default delivery options - both for VAT invoices/bills and statements to be Email. Currently 'Post' is the default for all new clients - can we have a new config key so we can choose which option best suits our practice?
