  1. When the WF is used to generate emails, it would be useful to be able to copy in specific CCH users to notify them that emails have been sent to clients.

    The copied in users are then pre-warned that client may contact them regarding the email that has just been sent.

  2. We have had workflows terminate due to either an error on the database or with the steps on the workflow. What would be helpful is if a warning or notification box came up when a workflow terminated itself. Currently it just appears as if the task has completed and if the next step isn't assigned to the person completing the task on which it terminated then it isn't always obvious this is what has happened so could be missed.

  3. We appear to be running into an issue where the Workflows aren't showing a true reflection of ongoing work.
    We have three offices (Ascot, Fleet and Putney)
    If we have an Ascot Client but someone in Fleet is doing an assignment on it this will not show on the Fleet workflow, it only shows on the Ascot one.
    This is because the workflow view is looking at the responsibility level instead of the assignment level.
    We would like a separate workflow to look at the assignment level rather than the responsibility level.

  4. As we use the Tasks & Appointments Homepage mainly as it is far easier to see exactly what "you" have to do, it would be extremely helpful to be able to add the "Job Name" or "Job/Schedule" to the page. It does not appear in the Field Chooser List - even though it does in other homepages such as Workflows & Job Sheets.

  5. Closing a client should promtp to close all open workflows, joblines, and tasks. At the moment you can close a client with a part completed tax return workflow.

    Also it shoud not be possible to create a tax return when a client is closed (currently it is).

  7. CCH product Team it would be good to see a CCH Connector in to Microsoft Power Platform i.e. Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power BI or even Microsoft Power Virtual Agent that would allow Microsoft to connect CCH Central.

    For example several client onboarding tasks should be able to be completed by using a flow from Microsoft Dynamics in to CCH Central.

  8. Wolters Kluwer / CCH do not support Microsoft365 for email notification for workflow steps.

    Considering Microsoft365 is the most widely used platform it make no sense why we cannot use it. Even WK/CCH internally is on this platform!

    I recently tried to introduce workflow email notification and found the to enable it you must put the credentials into a table within the back end of your SQL server, When dealing with support I have now been told I have done everything correct but 365 is not supported.

  9. It would be ideal if we could "sort" the milestones, on the home page by due date. This will allow staff to see In progress tasks in date order, when they have different due dates. This would be a good reporting tool.

  10. Allow a change to workflow owner eg staff leave and have created workflow and some steps can default to the workflow owner

  11. We are currently able to bulk complete tasks on the task homepage, unless they are multi-action tasks, for example with a Yes/No outcome. It would save considerable time to be able to select numerous tasks and complete with an action box pop-up to ask if they are to be completed as a Yes or No in bulk.

  12. It would be very useful to have a field to add notes that is NOT linked to a particular step; but the workflow as a whole. Then the partner/manager can see any issues affecting that workflow without having to drill into the individual steps of the workflow each time.

  14. It would be helpful if rather than notifying the partner it notified another member of the team, generally it is only managers and team members who are concerned in the workflow being updated and moving work forward rather than the partner.

  15. Currently the Step Type 'Workflow Launcher' is not available within Assignment driven Workflows, It is available in every other type of workflow except Assignment and Practice Managerment. By enabling another workflow to be launched within Assignment Workflows, this can improve communcation and interaction between departments and help with a smoother running of a practice.

  17. Carpenter Box - Add Workflow's Current Step field to the DCs' field chooser.

    Have an option to hide unused workflows from the homepage drop down
    Potentially add a column called “Hide on homepage” in the standard workflows screen.
