  1. We have had workflows terminate due to either an error on the database or with the steps on the workflow. What would be helpful is if a warning or notification box came up when a workflow terminated itself. Currently it just appears as if the task has completed and if the next step isn't assigned to the person completing the task on which it terminated then it isn't always obvious this is what has happened so could be missed.

  2. Wolters Kluwer / CCH do not support Microsoft365 for email notification for workflow steps.

    Considering Microsoft365 is the most widely used platform it make no sense why we cannot use it. Even WK/CCH internally is on this platform!

    I recently tried to introduce workflow email notification and found the to enable it you must put the credentials into a table within the back end of your SQL server, When dealing with support I have now been told I have done everything correct but 365 is not supported.

  4. Closing a client should promtp to close all open workflows, joblines, and tasks. At the moment you can close a client with a part completed tax return workflow.

    Also it shoud not be possible to create a tax return when a client is closed (currently it is).

  5. CCH product Team it would be good to see a CCH Connector in to Microsoft Power Platform i.e. Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power BI or even Microsoft Power Virtual Agent that would allow Microsoft to connect CCH Central.

    For example several client onboarding tasks should be able to be completed by using a flow from Microsoft Dynamics in to CCH Central.

  6. It would be ideal if we could "sort" the milestones, on the home page by due date. This will allow staff to see In progress tasks in date order, when they have different due dates. This would be a good reporting tool.

  7. Carpenter Box - Add Workflow's Current Step field to the DCs' field chooser.

    Where a document belongs to a workflow include the workflow Current Step value, where not leave the field blank
