"Year End" field and "Next Accounts due" field on Main tab
Could a "Next Accounts due" field be added to the main tab and could a "Check with Companies House & Update" button be added similar to that in many Company Secretarial software programs. If you could also "bulk check and update" these fields this would make tracking of deadlines far simpler and avoid having to keep the same information in multiple places and manually updating it.

Working Notes (like in Personal Tax)
Could we have a "Working Notes" Area like we do in Personal Tax for users to enter notes alongside the data entry - file notes only, not to appear on the comp.

Close client routine
Closing a client should promtp to close all open workflows, joblines, and tasks. At the moment you can close a client with a part completed tax return workflow.
Also it shoud not be possible to create a tax return when a client is closed (currently it is).

Ability to select which email address to use for an individual on each different association type they hold.
we have many client organisations who have(for example) a director with 2 different email address - one is to be used for billing and the other one is to be used for accounts queries. This director is associated to the ltd company as billing contact and as accounts contact, however both associations pull through the same primary email address.
We need to be able to select which email address is the primary for each association. e.g. when creating, the association of billing contact select Email 2, and when creating the association for Director select primary Email.20 votes -
When entering dates you can't enter the 31 as a day without changing the month first
Eg in february i can not enter the date 31/01/2020 without having to enter the month first as it wont let me go past the 28/02/21 due the fields starting with todays date. This runs throughout central.

Would you like Wolters Kluwer to look at integrating CCH Central and/or CCH iFirm into Microsoft 365 so you can send documents directly to OneDrive and use that as a preferred document storage solution

Tidy up smart reports/reporting
Currently there are lots of reports in Smart reports/Reporting tab some of which are useful, some of which are pointless and unsuable for any meaningful information unless heavily edited. I can hardly ever get the information I need easily or at the click of a button.
When creating reports some fields are unreportable on, for example employee charge out rates, you can only report on them from a WIP perspective, not just pull a report to see whos rate is what. We should be able to report on every field in some way or another.

Sorting active workflow tasks, on home page by due date of individual step in progress
It would be ideal if we could "sort" the milestones, on the home page by due date. This will allow staff to see In progress tasks in date order, when they have different due dates. This would be a good reporting tool.

Option to turn off duplication of receipt number check
Would it be possible to have the option to turn off the duplication of receipt number check when uploading cash transactions or making transfers ? Our team are currently experiencing the below issue:
When posting, using the CSV spreadsheet to CCH, any 2 receipts with similar references and similar amount
Gets confused by CCH and will only post one of the receipts and then come up with an error message of

Partnership/LLP/Trust reporting
The ability to run reports against partnerships/LLP's is severely restricted as the content to report on is just not available.
If there is an entry that can be made on a Tax Return (or anywhere in Central!) then there is a database netry and we should be able to report on it. This is just not the case and has not been for a number of years.9 votes -
Reporting - Workflows
Unable to create new reports in the Workflow section of reporting. When selecting to save a report the drop down list of sections end at Practice Management - and doesn't include Workflow.
Please correct this so that users can create their own reports in this section.

Add in the Personal Tax - Other Income as a reportable field for MTD Reports
We have been comparing figures from Acs Production against the existing MTD reports and the Other Income figure under TXOTHBUSINC is not reportable within the Personal Tax options within Reporting. It would be very useful to have this added. Thanks

Filing Accounts at Companies House
Anyone else find it totally infuriating that if you go to file accounts at companies house and they fail because you have used the wrong authentication code, that - 1. you have to log right out of CCH entirely and then log back in to try again otherowise it uses the same incorrect code - and 2. that in the second year of filing you have to put the darn code in again - it doesnt retain the codes you enter? what a waste of my time!!! this needs sorting - along with the issue of the Filer showing that…

Enable the roll forward of data to be refreshed after a new a/p is created
At present all computations are entirely independent, so changes to a prior year do not flow through to later ones. this means computations can get out of synch.
It would be useful to have the option of carrying closing balances forward - ideally as a function in year one, so when you've changed that year you can cascade the changes onward.
This has come up particularly as we have a new client where we are working on two years simultaneously, and now have to re-key all the provisions, capital allowances and so on in the later year. IT would also…

Associated contact details of open clients
Contact details of associated open clients - when attempting to run a report of email addresses of contacts associated with a client I can get everything I need but unable to filter out associated contacts of open clients. This would be really useful for producing a mailing list for e-newsletters where we act for a company but not a director (we would stil want the director to receive the newsletter). Equally, the company's financial coltroller etc etc who is associated should receive.

Microsoft Power Platform Connector
CCH product Team it would be good to see a CCH Connector in to Microsoft Power Platform i.e. Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power BI or even Microsoft Power Virtual Agent that would allow Microsoft to connect CCH Central.
For example several client onboarding tasks should be able to be completed by using a flow from Microsoft Dynamics in to CCH Central.

Extra Field Groups in Database Fields
When you create a template in CCH which has database fields you are also able to see extra fields in this list.
If you put your extra fields in groups they no longer appear.
