  1. Could we have a "Working Notes" Area like we do in Personal Tax for users to enter notes alongside the data entry - file notes only, not to appear on the comp.

  2. Would you like Wolters Kluwer to look at integrating CCH Central and/or CCH iFirm into Microsoft 365 so you can send documents directly to OneDrive and use that as a preferred document storage solution

  3. The ability to run reports against partnerships/LLP's is severely restricted as the content to report on is just not available.
    If there is an entry that can be made on a Tax Return (or anywhere in Central!) then there is a database netry and we should be able to report on it. This is just not the case and has not been for a number of years.

  4. Company Authentication code - Is there any way you guys can include a new field in database where we can enter company authentication code so it makes easy for all of us while entering master data all the information is there.

  5. We have been comparing figures from Acs Production against the existing MTD reports and the Other Income figure under TXOTHBUSINC is not reportable within the Personal Tax options within Reporting. It would be very useful to have this added. Thanks

Anyone else find it totally infuriating that if you go to file accounts at companies house and they fail because you have used the wrong authentication code, that - 1. you have to log right out of CCH entirely and then log back in to try again otherowise it uses the same incorrect code - and 2. that in the second year of filing you have to put the darn code in again - it doesnt retain the codes you enter? what a waste of my time!!! this needs sorting - along with the issue of the Filer showing that…

  7. Please add Bulk Update ability to close old jobs eg. Personal Tax assignment --> Job 2023.

    This request was possibly another UserVoice request called "Delete Job" raised in May 2020 which was marked as COMPLETED on 18/01/24 - does this mean we can do this? Can we otherwise have a script for doing this please? Thanks!

  8. Contact details of associated open clients - when attempting to run a report of email addresses of contacts associated with a client I can get everything I need but unable to filter out associated contacts of open clients. This would be really useful for producing a mailing list for e-newsletters where we act for a company but not a director (we would stil want the director to receive the newsletter). Equally, the company's financial coltroller etc etc who is associated should receive.

  9. CCH product Team it would be good to see a CCH Connector in to Microsoft Power Platform i.e. Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power BI or even Microsoft Power Virtual Agent that would allow Microsoft to connect CCH Central.

    For example several client onboarding tasks should be able to be completed by using a flow from Microsoft Dynamics in to CCH Central.

  11. When you create a template in CCH which has database fields you are also able to see extra fields in this list.
    If you put your extra fields in groups they no longer appear.
    We would like all extra fields in all groups to be added to the database field drop down

  12. We need to restrict staff from opening up assignments that have been placed on hold. There is currently no permission on this so we cannot restrict it. Please create a new permission, similar to the one that allows staff to re-open closed assignments. Alternatively could you let admins have the ability to create permissions for their practice.

  13. As we use some customised job names we can't use the Roll Forward facility because you can't customise the algorithm. This would be useful in both saving time for regular jobs (ie monthly roll forward) and would ensure that the same format is being used by all staff

  14. An assignment search currently displays completed Jobs (even though the 'include completed jobs' box at the bottom of page is not ticked. Please could this be rectified as it's making managing reviewing open Jobs very difficult.

    The same occurs in the Job Management homepage - completed Jobs are included.

  16. Currently, the 'weekly' algorithm only allows you to choose Wk1 / Wk2 ... Wk 50 / Wk 52 etc. It would be more helpful if the algorithm could relate to a particular date e.g. 'week-ending' 4-Apr and it then repeated weekly by date moving forward.

  17. When setting up Extra Fields for a client or contact, we have the ability to mark them as mandatory. However, the application of the mandatory status is applicable to the entire field and not whether it is a Client or a Contact field. For example, you may want an "industry type" as mandatory for a client, but not for a contact however, you'd still want to capture that information in both types of records. At the moment you create the extra field and make it applicable by ticking client and / or contact and then you tick the Mandatory tick…

  18. The software should be more streamlined in sending documents for approval, obtaining that approval and recording it on the system and then permitting the submission of those documents on the clients’ behalf.
    This should apply to Accounts production, corporation tax and personal tax at least.
    I appreciate users may have their own methods but what seems missing is a specific ‘send for approval’ and marking of ‘approval given’. If One lick is used then this should flow back to populate an approved box.

  19. It would be great to be able to choose extra fields with "multiple" options on the client search screen. They could be displayed as "optionA, optionB, optionC" for example (with character limits if required).
