Notifications for comments on support cases
When you have an open case in the support portal, if an adviser add a comment to the case, you don't get a notification through, only if they send an email, which you can see at the right hand side in the case.
It seems it would be the most basic feature of a helpdesk that when there is an update the user gets an update.This has led to calls getting closed with no resolution as they haven't had an answer back, I am no in the support portal all day to check if my case has been updated

Central ID Code sync
Would there be any way to sync the Contact ID from Central to Co Sec. For some reason we are getting a few duplicate names recently and it is difficult to tell which is which in Co Sec.
To be honest even in Central you end up having to open all as you cannot from the "find" tab distinguish them as DoB, middle name nor a suffix such as Snr are columns you can add. Mostly fathers and sons with exactly the same names!

Amended LLP accounts
You can prepare them under FRS102/105 and submit but we've been advised by support that it is not possible to prepare/submit amended LLP accounts (through WK using the stat database defective accounts option). Any plans to do this?

Enable Excel Templates to have look up Data Lists
This isn't an idea, it's a bug that needs fixing. When you have an excel template with a Data List which uses a look up to give people options, it works fine when you add it to the Maintenance section and when you edit it within the "Add Template" screen. However, as soon as it is added as a template to a Client Document folder all of the data lists disappear, even though the Lookups are still there.

Last WIP added at assignment level
In smart reports you can run a report that shows the last time WIP was added to a client and the last Fee date, can we get this at assingment level, we use this to do checks that clients to be closed haven't been missed, but would like to do it as an exercise to tidy up the assignments as well

Bulk Update Assignment Office and Department
We can bulk udpate the office and department at a client level, would be useful to do this on the assignments tab as well instead of having to do it manually

Central to support mulitple Outlook Profiles
Can you get Central to support multiply Outlook profiles. Whereby when using the bulk email mail merge you can select a different email.
For example, when bulk emailing emails we would prefer to use our main email account and not an individual users one.

Remove 1 year default display date on WIP enquiry screen
The newly introduced default display of only 1 year's worth of WIP on the Client Assignment Enquiry screen gives a false impression of the total WIP for the client. This is cumbersome and can lead to losses as it is no longer possible to quickly assess the client's WIP without manually changing the display default in each instance.

Update Info Request template for UK and Foreign Property so the gross income is displayed instead of the net income.
The SAR Information Request template includes a section for UK and Foreign Property. The prior year figures include a merge field for property amount being net property income. We would like to show the gross property income.

Pull client status or assignment status through to job management
Job management should have "assignment status" as a column and/or the client status pulled from the default tab i.e. "on hold" etc

Ability to tick and move a step along in bulk for several workflows together from homepage - at the moment we have to move them along
We should be able to tick several workflows on a homepage and move the step along in bulk. This saves time rather than doing them one by one, especially like the homepage of personal tax workflow and update steps like "request info", received info" etc. This will help speed things up. Even bulk "submit to HMRC" from Workflow.

Adding Note Section to Workflow
It would be extremely helpful, especially with MTD workflows that a note section is available. This was always available via the legacy assignment jobs and so useful to have

More obvious indicator of clients that are on hold.
We need a more obvious indicator of clients that are on hold due to debt. Please can the assignment status show on job management?
Please can you also make the "Account Status" field visible in the Find Contacts search screen as well as Find Clients.

Could we have fields to request details of the Winter Fuel Payment received and to ask for further details for reporting on close company dividends, in line with the entries which will be required for both on the 2026 tax return

Audit Trail for Document Security
Ref : CCH Case 08929091
We recently had a situation where all our document security access was removed for all staff and they were unable to access anything in the document center for all clients.
I uploaded a copy of our database to CCH support so that it could be investigated, but was told that currently CCH do not audit document security, so there is no way of seeing who made the change.
This seems like a big GDPR gap, and I am raising this as a concern and ask that this be reviewed and considered for a future release.

In advanced search on the client screen where the UTR and NI Number are populated on a client record show the information on the screen to allow it to be exported. The fields are populated on the normal client search screen but when you change it to do an "advanced" search the data shows as blank.

SA109 and SA107 reporting urgent requirement
In CCH Central/Reporting, please add urgently the ability to report on whether pages SA109 and/or SA107 have been completed. This is required in connection with identifying which clients are deferred for MTD IT and will be required this year and for the next 2 tax years at least. MTD SQL Report Enhancement Requirement for April 26
We have used your MTD SQL query from your feed details: https://help.wolterskluwer.co.uk/Customers/s/article/CCH-Personal-MTD-for-IT-new-report.
However the excel output being produced to identify MTD cases may not be complete as if your clients had a new source in 2024/25 and that didn't exceed the £50k limit, HMRC guidance suggests the following: If the sole trade or property income you declare on your tax return relates to a new source of income which started in the year, the figure reported will need to be adjusted in order to compare 12 months’ worth of income against the MTD mandation threshold.

Xero. We would like an integration between Xero and the CCH WIP system.
We have a Xero invoicing / book keeping system. We would like an integration between Xero and the CCH WIP system. We currently have to raise invoices twice, once on CCH to pick up the WIP and then again on Xero. Same with payments in, we allocate on Xero, then duplicate to allocate on CCH. It would be an incredibly useful feature and would save a lot of time. It would also be an attractive feature to new customers of CCH.
