Simplify review of work programmes
The requirements of ISA315 require risk to be reviewed at a granular level resulting in the Identified Audit Risk Database being used for ALL risks not just significant risks. Therefore tests are assigned in response to the risks in this database. It would be great if a report could be run to see which standard tests within standard programmes have not been assigned to identified risks so that they can be easily identified and tailored out (or assigned to a risk if the link has just been missed!)

Redesign of the Audit notes system - needs more integration with the general interface so that it is more obvious there are new or outstanding audit notes.
Perhaps some sort of live notification/inbox in the bottom system bar of the software window (where the login, date/time is located)

Record time spent on client accounts
CCH Practice - a function to start recording time spent on client accounts. For example, once a client file is opened, then option to start the clock and record amount of minutes spent. Then when closed, add notes for what was done - chargeable or not.

Invoice numbering not sorting correctly when invoice numbering reset in Fully Billing History
Our invoice numbering was reset due to a fault with Central and when we restored the numbering sequence to match our original invoices, the invoices that were created afterwards don't sort correctly in Full Billing History.
So instead of them following eg 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc (in ascending order) they might look like 5, 1, 2, 3, 4 where 5 is an invoice after the reset.

Issue with scaling on drop down filter menu in DM.
In Document Centre, when trying to filter in the search area, the drop down menu doesn't show the complete list. It's hard to explain without an image, but the list becomes transaparent and then only shows the items the mouse is selecting.
This is relating to a drawing issue affected by scaling in display settings for a specfic monitor. If the monitor is not set at 100% scaling, regardless of the resolution, then this appears to occur.

Add next accounts made up to date in CCH Company Secretarial
Can the next accounts made up to date be populated from Companies House Data. The ARD and filing deadline are there but it would be very useful to be able to report on actual year end dates.

Team responsibility at client or assignment level
When we create assignments the assignment partner and assignment manager are immediately populated at assignment level. This over rides the assignment manager visible on the find client screen which has been entered under team responsibility which is where we enter the user roles. Can we have the ability to either switch off certain user roles or the pre-population at assignment levels be stopped or be able to specify if we want user roles to be set at either at client responsibility level or assignment level.

Mandatory addition of Accounts Payable contact

Record commentary on accounts and tax returns for clients. Ability to have a cloud recording tool like LOOM.com (https://www.loom.com/)
The idea is to record a commentary for clients to view along with accounts sent for approval, by going through the pages of accounts and tax return, explaining the figures and referring to any workings. Then send with accounts for them to view via a link to the Cloud site. Can also be sent via CCH Central.

Report Scheduler
Can we add functionality that allows users to pre schedule the running of standard CCH reports that are used on frequent basis so that they can be auto generated & saved out for users to access at the appropriate time. This could be a significant time & cost saving for all firms by removing the need for users to spend time manually generating each time e.g. daily / weekly / monthly etc.

workflow homepage
Workflow Homepage when you use the drop down to select the workflow you wish to see, even though the top states "Active workflows only" you also get those workflows which are marked as "inactive" in "File, Maintenance, Central Workflow, Standard Workflows". If you are not sure which is the current workflow it is easy to select the incorrect one and think there is nothing outstanding/ongoing. Think this would be helpful.

Use "child lines" in the detailed P&L when importing from AP
Currently AP brings the main headings into the P&L as income and expense rows, but each item of expenditure is entered as an analysis item instead of a child row. This means that we are unable to add analysis of items on the DPL for the tax comp.
For example, an Entertainment cost could contain both allowable and disallowable items. Before we used the AP link we would show the Entertainment cost as a child row in the DPL and then insert an analysis so the split for HMRC was clear. Now we link with AP we can no longer…

Disabling specific VAT rates on clients and billing
We have a number of VAT rates available on setup for client/supplier records and available for billing. Some of which are old and don't need to be used. Can we have the option to make unavailable specific VAT rates but keep the unused ones for historical reporting purposes. Examples of where are in the Client Tax Rates and Tax Rates options under File>Maintenance>Client/Supplier

PIN numbers should be stored online
PIN numbers should be stored / accessible in our online CCH account by the superuser, as we have to wait for it to be emailed to us if there is ever a glitch.

The ability to use Word Developer and the ability add drop downs/paragraph control boxes -or the capability to add rule-optional paragraphs
It would be helpful to be able to add the Word Developer functionality when designing/editing templates - ie.dropdown choice boxes and paragraph content control boxes.

Fix DPL tagging on FRS 105 accounts
This has been a known issue since October. Is there any timescale on a fix as this is increasing the time it takes to tag accounts which isn't ideal at one of the busiest times of year.

Develop a single folder with configurable location for plugins and temp files
Currently only a select few of the folders within Central have a configurable location, many of the remainder have their location set by default.
Those folders with a default location exist within the user profile Documents folder which introduces difficulty when Sync technology such as OneDrive is in use.
It would be far better to have a single location across the entire CCH Central suite which contained the folders for whichever plugins or functions of the software are necessary, that was configurable and could be placed outside of the default Documents folder to avoid issues with Sync technologies.

Workflow generated emails - CC in an additional account on the email sent
When the WF is used to generate emails, it would be useful to be able to copy in specific CCH users to notify them that emails have been sent to clients.
The copied in users are then pre-warned that client may contact them regarding the email that has just been sent.
