  1. We had two partners retire - their clients needed to moved over to new partners on 1/5/2024. So the end date for the previous partner was 30/4/2024

    ERROR WITH END DATE
    Firstly, on the 30 April the clients showed on neither partner list so we could not extract the report data we needed. The date the partner ended doesn't seem to include the end date and you are unable to use the same end and start date. This meant for a day our clients were not allocated to any partner.

  2. There is currently no non-current accrued interest payable nominal. There needs to be a non-current equivalent to 8094 disclosed in non-current liabilities that has the same non-cash effect to the cashflow as nominal 8094.

  3. I would like to send the return with IR Mark to the client for approval. However, if I try to send a return from the Online filing section direct to Document Management it goes into a zip folder and so it can't be sent onto the client for signature via One Click. Printing to pdf, saving somewhere then uploading is far more cumbersome and increases the risks of the wrong return being sent out.
    It is very frustrating that you design a simple method for sending documents but design it so that it isn't useful.

  4. On closure of a Client it currently overwrites the date on already closed assignments. When closing a client simply add the date of closure to any open assignments.

  5. It's common now to be able to select 'prefer not to say' or have an 'other' option. Even just being able to leave it blank would help. We don't want to put a client off by not being inclusive.

  6. Currently if you insert a name in the assignment partner field in Assignment Templates in Maintenance you are unable to remove the name which was mistakenly selected and keep the field blank as it originally was.

    This now means I have to make the assignment template inactive and set it up again which clutters our assignment template list.

  7. OneClick Activation Status Icon Colours - On "Find Contacts/Clients" icon is either Green for Activated or Grey for not activated. However within the Client the Icon is always green if they have been invited, whether that is activated or pending. Also when you close a client OneClick has to be either suspended or deleted but on the search Contacts/clients the icon is still Green. Status would be easier/clearer to see if had Activated, Pending, Suspended or Closed colours.

We would like to be able to select some filtering options and see client names as we do when using the 'Batch Assign Workflow to Tax Returns' (in Maintenance> Central Workflow>Personal Tax (ref screen shots 1 and 2) to the 'Batch Update Workflow' process as currently we only have client codes showing (ref screen shot 3) which is not sufficient when working on updating 100 clients/ 6000 clients for instance. It is not filtering our clients list enough to help make a quick workflow bulk update as we have to scroll through the whole 6000 clients UTRs to chose our…

    Hi Joanna

    The standard CCH Trust pages do not use Notes to the Accounts and include all the detail in the principle financial statements.

    However the standard CCH Probate pages do include Notes.

    The note number of specific notes can be picked up in a paragraph using a formula like :
    Accrued income is shown in note {Note,note04ai}.

    The pages used to print the notes can be printed using a formula like:
    … as shown in the Notes to the accounts on pages {NotePageRange,0}.

    One point that catches some users out is that you have to preview the full accounts to see note and page references; they are not visible if you just view one page.

    Hopefully one or other of these formulae gives you what you are looking for.

  11. With the new employee expense sheet ability in 2019.2 to add a document, we have achieved this in Central, but have an additional request. We use Twinfield and export our expenses out of Central into Twinfield purchase ledger which are posted directly to nominals. Can the attached document in Central export to Twinfield and be able to view from the cost posted in Twinfield on the nominal account?

  12. Sales invoices which are now automated export in 2019.3 still do not export the descriptions, line by line into Twinfield. The description only comes over in the 1st line only.
    This is the same with expenses.
    After each export, we have to go into each transaction and enter the description into the blank field as the transaction history is blank when users are looking for an analysis of a nominal code.

  13. If a document is uneditable, you are uable to edit / use any properties, when the ability to view the Audit trail and Versioning (permissions permitting) would be extremely useful.

  16. We have been trying to create a master pack template for everyone to use. One of the main templates that we usually use and would like to bring in is macro-enabled but this is not supported in Working Papers currently.
