extra narrative field for cash book payments
Can we have an extra field for cash book payments? At the moment all payments have the same narrative as what is typed in the description box but if you are wanting to split the payment to different nominals, it would be good to have an extra field so each transaction has more detail.

Foreign tax credit re partnerships
Partnerships - Foreign Tax on Foreign Dividends - the income pulls onto the individual partners returns but the FTC does not, it then has to be added manually to the individuals return. This really should be pulling through

Billing support Documents
. It would be good to link the billing support documents (i.e. the random spreadsheets and wip reports) to a bill in such a way that they are accessible from the bill workflow and the billing tab? It would need to be possible to attach them after the bill was posted (e.g. as they were scanned in).

Email templates
We send annual emails or letters to our clients for tax investigation services. It would be useful to be able to set up an email template and then attach the invoice.

SQL Hosting on Linux Servers
Microsoft SQL is now able to install on Linux servers, It would be a great opportunity for Audit Automation if we can host a database on Linux servers to reduce our cost.
I would suggest the technical team of CCH Audit Automation to see if we can host SQL database on Linux servers in the cloud and connect the local system to the hosted database.

prebilling report
I think it would be useful to be able to run a report similar to "by month billing report" that shows how much WIP you are billing, writing off and carrying forward on a draft bill.

WIP Enquiry date ranges
We want to be able to filter the WIP on the WIP enquiry page to show the WIP between 2 dates. The current date range field only allows us to put in a date for WIP after a certain point, but the majority of our clients are billed for time up until a certain date (usually end of the month/quarter) which is what a lot of professional service firms would do.

Include fields for Engagement letter and ID in the main tab for all clients
i'm sure this must have been mentioned before but isn't it a bit stupid that the main tab has no field for the date of the enagagement letter for each client and a space to record what ID has been taken to comply with money laundering regs? this should also then link into things like accounts production? any reason why no one has kicked off about this before? one of many irks i'm afraid....

More field options for Suppliers
Can we have fields like telephone number, email address etc. available in the choose fields option - like we can on Clients? Also, the option to preview more information would be great

Adding new tasks to assignment template
When a new task code is created it automatically appears on any assignment template that uses codes and there ore has to be manually removed from those assignments that do not need/want that particular code. It would better if we were able to filter the addition of tasks just to the assignments we require.

Pop up warning user that other assignments on client are set to Invoice
When opening a new assignment on a client it would reduce a lot of error if there was a pop up box to tell the user that other assignments on that client are set as Invoice and not RFP.
We do have a report set up to monitor this but it can be too late if an assignment is opened and bill raised straight away.2 votes -
Default workflow under assignment/jobs
Is there any way under assignments/jobs that we can default the latest workflow. When we go into the clients assignments and there are different versions of the workflow it always defaults to the first workflow version rather than the latest version

It would be better where the SA302 shows a tax refund for that figure to be in brackets to distinguish it from tax underpaid and to match the format of the figure for total tax due at the end of the document

Improve tagging when correcting tags in 1 set to avoid having to do the process twice
It is time consuming having to tag both the members set and the small companies filing set individually, especially when having to amend any tags. For example a common tagging error is when a note spans 2 pages (not sure why the software can't recognise this) so you have to delete, adjust and amend the tag in both sets doing it twice. It would be better if the software recognised any changes to tagging made in the members set and replicated these in the filing copy.

Being able to reorder audit programmes at planning which is then reflected in the combined audit programmes
I would like any changes we have made to the order of the audit programmes to be reflected in the the combined audit programme, Currently the order is displayed by test type and not the same order as customise procedures.

Changes to subsequent events programme
PCAS company pack 17.1 subsequent events audit programme now has questions which relate to facts AFTER the date on which the auditor’s report was signed. I can't see the point of including these, as we need to answer all such questions BEFORE the audit file can be signed off and the audit report issued. Please can these be removed from the net of now including these as these questions in the audit programme need to be completed BEFORE we can sign off the audit file and then sign/issue the audit report. We would like to be able to set WIP limits for certain clients. This would then flag up when that certain limit has been reached.

Pre-tick box against document when checking in single documents from Document Centre but right-click at it is in Office add-in
Please amend it so that if you right click on a document in document centre that the one result that is returned is pre-ticked against document in question. In the Office addin for Word when you click checkin the identical looking box is pre-ticked and you just have to click the check-in button on the popup window.
I can understand why these aren't pre-ticked on the prompt when you exit the software to check documents back in as you might not want to select one of multiple documents but if the list contains one entry having to manually tick it…

CT600 Signatory Box Linked to Contact/Client
Would it be possible to please link the CT600 signatory box to a contact/client record rather than it being a text box and requiring manual input? The reason being is simple, typos made by junior staff.
In accounts the directors must be set up as a contact/client so surely we can do the same for CT600.
If this is not possible for the on premises software can it certainly be considered for cloud, iFirm please?
