  1. If a document is uploaded to multiple client codes and then a task is created, the task does not show up on task lists, only on the documents inbox.
    Tasks only show up on the task lists if a document is uploaded to one code, the task created and then the second client code added.
    This increases the likelihood of documents going missing as most staff only use the task list not the documents in box.
    We have 'lost' several documents as a result of this as staff do not always upload and add the task in the right order…

  2. The scan quality can drop drastically when using the Scan function. This does not happen when the same pdf document is uploaded into DM directly.
    Can we have the ability to drag and drop pdf documents in the Scan area where we only want to use the splitting function and not the OCR function which reduces the quality please.

  4. Its very difficult to track which email you have open if you have a lot of emails with the same or similar titles or many in a conversation

  7. Can we have configuration keys to enable extra fields to be visible for field chooser in these 2 areas too:
    - Contacts (find contact screen) like we have for clients
    - Jobs (job management) like we have for workflows

  8. We would like the ability to assign a Task to more than 1 employee. Currently only 1 employee can be assigned a task but can we have the possibility to add more than 1 person?

  9. It would be great to be able to choose extra fields with "multiple" options on the client search screen. They could be displayed as "optionA, optionB, optionC" for example (with character limits if required).

  11. Partnerships - Foreign Tax on Foreign Dividends - the income pulls onto the individual partners returns but the FTC does not, it then has to be added manually to the individuals return. This really should be pulling through

  12. If I have edited my Workflow homepage control to remove a column such as deadline, and add another field from Field Chooser, such as tax year column instead, and my employee record is the ‘master’, when other employees go into their employee record and click on the homepage button to make them to same as mine, that change of fields isn’t coming through, they still get the deadline date and have to make those changes manually.

  13. To convert a client to a contact instead of getting error "unable to do so because of assignments".
    We still need to AML directors/shareholders of limited companies, who no longer have self assessment or wish to do their tax return themselves. Currently have to close the client and then create as a contact.

  14. Can we have the abilty to add an Employee to the Partnership tab, currently we have to create an employee record and a contact record.

  15. In order to clear an ex employee's notes, you must re-enable their timesheet and give them back an Audit security group. We should just be able to clear their notes - it is normal for people to leave a company and there is not logic to needing to reactivate their accounts in order to clear notes they have made.

  17. Is there any way where emails created from CCH Central can include an encryption option? Currently, we use Egress in Outlook, however in CCH, that function seems to be nor available when an email is generated from CCH.

  18. On creating a mail merge document, as a huge number of clients do not have access to MS Word, can they be converted to PDF on creation to email out. Also it would be useful to be able to attach to an email template for bulk issue. Were advised by Support to raise the PDF creation.

  19. The mergeField is not picking quiet few fields when creating documents that can be used as templates. One of the examples is the UTR mergefield is not being picked up and the end users have to keep typing the UTR everytime the standard letter is created which would have been pciked up automatically by the merge field. This is quite unproductive and frustrating.

  20. When you run a report eg balancing descending this works, when you run the client list based on this report in order to mail merge, it creates the list in alphabetical format rather than by balance descending as the original report has done. In order to select a group of clients you need to be able to view both reports at the same time and scroll up and down to select your merge group
