  1. Introduce the ability to select several bills and change the posting date in bulk. It is currently only possible to do this for one bill at a time but when you are sending thousands of bills each month and approvals aren't done immediately you might need to update the date on hundreds at a time which just isn't possible with the manual way it currently has to be done

  2. Introduce the ability to have more than one accounts payable contact against a client.
    We have a large number of clients where a Director will want to receive copies of bills but also wants copies of bills to be sent to their accounts payable department. This has been possible in alternative software's that we have looked at

  3. Name of document when being changed in the properties tab causes the name section to collapse/disappear if we use the symbol "-" when changing the name of a document already in DM.

    This symbol is very common and the name field should not disappear or collapse.

  4. We have a lot of sales invoices that change each month/quarter, it would be very useful to be able to import our sales invoices into CCH by csv in a similar way to the Xero sales import process.

  5. Can we have configuration keys to enable extra fields to be visible for field chooser in these 2 areas too:
    - Contacts (find contact screen) like we have for clients
    - Jobs (job management) like we have for workflows

  6. Currently every workstation prompts for an admin password when an update is installed that requires the document management plugins to be updated. Program Files (x86) is a restricted folder by default in windows and requires local admin rights to write to. Can we do something about this (maybe move the folder to ProgramData)? Going around every workstation is taking hours every time an update comes out.

If there is an error with the return which stops you from being able to validate the return to IR mark it, it would be useful if the error description was always linked in such a way that clicking on the error message would take you to the relevant screen where the issue lies. Some of the error messages are not easy to understand so this would save time hunting for the error. At the moment some of the tax return box numbers referred to in the error message are linked, but you are not always taken to a relevant…

  8. Editing the annual allowance tracker in this data entry screen causes the additional information pages to be printed, even when no pension contributions are made, so the additional info pages are blank. It would be useful to be able to get rid of these pages.

    In addition, the description on the pension savings tax charge schedule reads "amount saved this year in excess of annual allowance" - even when this is not the case, and the amount saved does not exceed the annual allowance. It would be good to have this description updated.

  9. Ability to remove the words Estimate or Miscellaneous Charge from all new Invoices so that all invoice templates are blank with the option of no text at all.

    When raising an Invoice there are descriptions such as Total Time , Estimate or Miscellaneous Charge that appear in part 3 of the Billing Wizard. These are hard coded and as such I would like to see these altered to allow removal of all text .
    Could there be an update rolled out so companies can opt out of any description text appearing at all .

  10. It would be beneficial if we could export lead schedules from AA in excel format or word, so they can be used outside of the system where appropriate. It would be beneficial if we could export anything (such as the planning packs) to either word or excel.

  11. We have few employees working from home and doing bookkeeping for us. They don’t have access to CCH. Now we want them to punch the timesheet as well on weekly basis. We want to do this by importing and exporting the timesheets on CCH. So, by this we have up to date timesheet for all of the clients and can create the invoices more accurately.

  12. It should not be possible to send out £0 bills (write offs) to clients or at the very least there should be a setting that can be ticked to disallow this.
    Currently you have to rely on Accountants changing the method at stage 3 to Post and not email to prevent them being sent out but the Accountants don't actually send the bills so they don't pay much attention and can't be trusted to do this! There's also a big risk of human error here and on a number of occasions £0 bills have been sent out and we've had…

Where prior year figures need to be manually entered or overridden in regards to adjustments for averaging (due to information not being in CCH or CCH picking up the wrong figures) the averaging adjustment is not calculated correctly. Original tax position and revised tax position figures don’t agree back to prior year figures or manually calculated figures.

    Also for Farmers Averaging there is currently no link between the figures calculated in CCH and the relevant tax return boxes. It would be useful for boxes 14 and 15 on the ‘Tax payments / repayments’ section to be populated with the relevant…

  16. It is very tricky to edit the information request templates and they are very easy to break. It would be useful to have the facility to be able to add the additional information we want, such as breakdowns of property expenses and employment income/PAYE deducted, ourselves, and to be able to make this conditional like the boxes already present (i.e. they only appear on the information request for each client if they have that relevant source of income).   17. It is not possible to enter a cessation date which is outside of the tax year - for example, for a fixed term bond for which we know the date of maturity. It would be useful to be able to enter this.

  18. It is not possible to change the status of a property from FHL to regular rental and vice versa, so you have to delete the property record and start again if you want to change over. It would be good to be able to simply switch the property type.

  19. When trying to share the rental income and expenses in CCH with clients, it only has the option to link another client who is a spouse. It would be helpful to be able to link clients who are not spouses - e.g. siblings.
