  2. There is the ability on the main employee tab to enter more than one Next of Kin although you can only report on one when dragging the fields into a document template for the employee.

  3. To be able to use extra fields on the employee records within Document Templates, although you can add them to the document - they do not generate any information.

  4. When emailing an invoice or a statement I would prefer the billing contact to be the primary email. It's caused a lot more issues recently with invoices going to the wrong email address & being missed.

    The alternative would be that if I'm emailing an attachment from CCH, rather than automatically picking the primary email, there's a drop down of options for which contact to email as currently we're finding it very inefficient.

  6. Is there any way where emails created from CCH Central can include an encryption option? Currently, we use Egress in Outlook, however in CCH, that function seems to be nor available when an email is generated from CCH.

  7. The ability for Xero to pull all invoices created automatically and also to have them as paid automatically in CCH when marked as paid in Xero.

    It is currently very time consuming and too easy to miss payments meaning clients that have get paid get chased.

    When we took on CCH we were told from the outset that it was something that was being looked at (one of the reasons we chose the software), a year down the line I have heard nothing further on the matter.

  8. Microsoft SQL is now able to install on Linux servers, It would be a great opportunity for Audit Automation if we can host a database on Linux servers to reduce our cost.

    I would suggest the technical team of CCH Audit Automation to see if we can host SQL database on Linux servers in the cloud and connect the local system to the hosted database.

  9. When emails auto save into DM it would be useful to be able to split out any attachments and save these as a separate document - only currently able to dril into the email trail locating the document and re uploading the document separately into DM

  10. Currently in order for a user to have access to change their central password or SMTP password( which is required to be able to send bills), they require a task permission that would give them access to ALL users passwords. Could a separate permission be used to allow them to edit these details on their own record but not other users?

  12. We currently use two different leave types to manage TOIL as previously recommended - TOIL Accrued (negative entries) and TOIL Taken (positive entries). However, users are only able to drill in to the results of the TOIL Taken (positive entries) on their Leave Entitlement dashlet in the same way that they can drill in to their Holiday (positive entries) on this dashlet.

    Can a change be made to enable users to drill in to the results on all leave types regardless of whether the total balance is positive or negative? This would really help to improve our users experience of…

  13. Please, please, please create a read-only CCH database API which would allow users to interface with ALL CCH data fields (every single one of them please!). What I'd love to see is essentially the same kind of thing as is currently possible with CCH Reporting, except without having to produce a report from within the CCH Central software, and then exporting to Excel for further data manipulation, and a less restricted scope in terms of the fields available to be selected.

    It'd be incredibly useful to be able to directly interface with the CCH database via an API call or…

    There are a limited number of APIs available for CCH. Though we do not plan to build further APIs for our on-premise suite, we are planning to deliver API solutions as part of our cloud suite which will support this requirement.

  14. When using the 'Calender Entry' settings for timehseet weekly completion the totals at the footer of the screen show the total time (hours or units depending on settings) worked for the week in progress.

    It would be very useful to also be able to see the total daily time, either by highlighting a specific day or showing the totals at the bottom of each day.

    This information is available when using 'Periodic Entry' so why not also 'Calender Entry'

  16. CCH product Team it would be good to see a CCH Connector in to Microsoft Power Platform i.e. Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power BI or even Microsoft Power Virtual Agent that would allow Microsoft to connect CCH Central.

    For example several client onboarding tasks should be able to be completed by using a flow from Microsoft Dynamics in to CCH Central.

  17. With only the option to delete a contact it is extremely frustrating to have to move documents from a contact to a client in document manager in order to delete them because you have to keep the documents for a certain period of time by law. These are contacts that we do not want to show up in reports anymore but may well be needed again in the future which if they are deleted means setting them up again and having to search for where their documents are to re attach them to the contact.

  18. When creating invoices, when I get to the list to print, the invoice I have just created is not the one where the list defaults, ie the one with the arrow next to it. At the minute, say for example I've created 10 invoices over the course of a morning, every time I finish the invoice then go to print, it defaults to the first invoice created that day, not the most recent - this is higly infuriating - is there a setting to change and if not, why not?

  19. Wolters Kluwer / CCH do not support Microsoft365 for email notification for workflow steps.

    Considering Microsoft365 is the most widely used platform it make no sense why we cannot use it. Even WK/CCH internally is on this platform!

    I recently tried to introduce workflow email notification and found the to enable it you must put the credentials into a table within the back end of your SQL server, When dealing with support I have now been told I have done everything correct but 365 is not supported.
