Update "Client Team" automatically when assignments are closed
When an assignment is created, the assignment manager is automatically added to the client team that is visible to the client if they are on OneClick.
It would make sense if they were also automatically removed from the client team when that assignment is closed or deleted.7 votes -
Disable an employee without selecting a replacement
When an employee leaves the practice we should be able to disable their login without selecting a replacement. We will never replace one member of staff with another across the board, their client list is usually shared out amongst other employees. At the moment we have to select a replacement and then manually enter every single client to change it on the client team.
Instead we should be able to disable their login without selecting a replacement, thus removing them from the "client team" (visible to clients on OneClick) on all clients.7 votes -
Reporting on last timesheet date by assignment
We would find it really useful if we were able to report on the last timesheet entry date by assignment in the same way that we are currently ably to do by client.
This would then help with data cleansing exercises where we look at assignments that have not had any time charged to them say for over 12 months - i.e. assignment to close.
Is there any development going on with Smart Reports at present and if so is this something that could be added to the wish list - i.e. adding the last timesheet entry data to assignment…

WIP Enquiry date ranges
We want to be able to filter the WIP on the WIP enquiry page to show the WIP between 2 dates. The current date range field only allows us to put in a date for WIP after a certain point, but the majority of our clients are billed for time up until a certain date (usually end of the month/quarter) which is what a lot of professional service firms would do.

Enable a document from the practice library to be added to client OneClick message
When needing to send standard forms for completion (64-8 or new payroll starter for example), there is no option to add from the practice library within the attaching function of a OneClick message. This means you either have to add a blank copy into the client DM (waste of disk space) or save outside of CCH to add (risk having an old version of the document). It would be easier to either:
a) Add publish to OneClick button from the practice library
b) have the option within add attachment on OneClick message to add from practice library7 votes -
When entering dates you can't enter the 31 as a day without changing the month first
Eg in february i can not enter the date 31/01/2020 without having to enter the month first as it wont let me go past the 28/02/21 due the fields starting with todays date. This runs throughout central.

Bulk update Assignment Extra Fields
We would find it really useful if it was possible to bulk update assignment extra field values in the same way that it is currently possible to bulk update extra field values on client and contact records.

Add a collapse all button for the different folders
when there are a lot of documents, it takes a while to scroll down to the folder I want to look in, so to be able to collapse all folders and then straightaway see the folder I want would be more effiicient.

I think it would be useful to be able to run a report similar to "by month billing report" that shows how much WIP you are billing, writing off and carrying forward on a draft bill.

Merge Document save as PDF
On creating a mail merge document, as a huge number of clients do not have access to MS Word, can they be converted to PDF on creation to email out. Also it would be useful to be able to attach to an email template for bulk issue. Were advised by Support to raise the PDF creation.

Currently when an email is received from a client by user1 who file the email in DM and then forward the same email to use2 (without making any changes), the email is filed again automatically. If user2 then forward it to user3 to action, this email is filed again. User3 will respond to the same email to user2 who will then respond to user1 once the work have been completed. Externally opening and signing off non-previewable files such as CSV files
Make it possible to sign off non-previewable documents such as CSV files within working papers by either just allowing signoff (i.e. prepared by role) - you can't import a XLS/XLSX file into AP only CSV so we want to be able to store the "source" import file in WP but at the moment you can't preview it as CSV aren't supported, there is now way to check it out to open it externally in the default application or sign the file off. I don't really care how you render a CSV, a spreadsheet would be nice clearly but if you…

Add keyboard shortcuts to client code search field
It is possible to add keyboard shortcuts to set focus to the client code search field. eg in Windows Copy/Paste is CTRL C and CTRL V. This would increase user efficiency.

Add the ability to mark a centre as inactive
If you use Power BI to report on various parts on CCH there is an issue with not being able to filter out old Centres. There is no way to identify only the current ones. Could an 'inactive' field be added so that these can be marked in CCH and then filtered out in Power BI.
