  1. In order to add a new Task/To Do item you have to go to the client search screen or into a client to see the Tasks/To Do icon on the ribbon.
    Please could this icon be added to the ribbon on the homepage screens so that a new Task can be added directly when reviewing a list of tasks.

  2. When you change an address you are notified if there are other contacts linked to the address that you are "Stopping/Changing". However it simply states the number of contacts and not who they are. You have to say do not update the linked contacts, then do a search for the old postcode and manually change any that are applicable - sometimes it is not applicable to change all but a couple.

    Having a list of the linked clients and be able to select those that need to change would be great and save a lot of time

  3. Can the residential and service addresses of PSC's be included in the "Compare at CH" tab in the same way as Directors' details? This will allow us to confirm that they are also up to date .

  4. Add AddresseePref, AddresseeFirst, AddresseeMiddle, AddresseeLast name fields so letters can be addressed to specific addressees at companies without typing the prefix and name in.

  5. Although CCH PT will calculate the AA taper via the pensions tax charge entry, if an entry is made the Ai pages are generated with nothing on them. Often we wish to just track the AA and there is no charge to report.
    Can a fully functional AA calculator be introduced? We used Digita before CCH and they had a great tool that would work out the AA/taper/charges, etc.
    Also assisted with planning without having to keep separate records.

  6. When opening a new assignment on a client it would reduce a lot of error if there was a pop up box to tell the user that other assignments on that client are set as Invoice and not RFP.
    We do have a report set up to monitor this but it can be too late if an assignment is opened and bill raised straight away.

  7. We have set different nominal codes for each assignment, however, this only appears as the default for our main company. If we set up a new assignment and change the company to one of our sister companies the default nominal reverts back to "Fees". It would be a lot less work, and leave less room for error, if we could set the default to carry through all of our companies.

  8. Currently there are lots of reports in Smart reports/Reporting tab some of which are useful, some of which are pointless and unsuable for any meaningful information unless heavily edited. I can hardly ever get the information I need easily or at the click of a button.

    When creating reports some fields are unreportable on, for example employee charge out rates, you can only report on them from a WIP perspective, not just pull a report to see whos rate is what. We should be able to report on every field in some way or another.

  10. We have a few users who have now been disabled. As we didn't keep on top of the tasks they had they now show as '- - UNSPEC'
    The only way to get a list of all tasks assigned to '- - UNSPEC' we need to do IF employee = NULL then sort by employee.
    It would be handy to be able to select '- - UNSPEC' in the employee list.

  11. There are currently only two genders (Male/Female). Please could you arrange for this to be expanded so that we can fit our clients into the correct description? As this is a protected characterstic under the Equality Act we would like this to be implemented ASAP.

  12. Due to covid we now have 3 members of staff who have changed to part time and do not work the same hours per day. CCH cannot cope with the balances now on leave for these staff.
    Employee categories need a standard day in hours stipulating and the employee leave tab only accepts days.
    So if a staff member works 7.5 hours on a Tuesday but only 4.5 days on a Wednesday, taking a day off requires less hours on a Tuesday.
    Can employees like this revert their employee category and employee absence tab to hours only to show the…

  13. i'm sure this must have been mentioned before but isn't it a bit stupid that the main tab has no field for the date of the enagagement letter for each client and a space to record what ID has been taken to comply with money laundering regs? this should also then link into things like accounts production? any reason why no one has kicked off about this before? one of many irks i'm afraid....

  14. With the increasing popularity of cryptocurrency, I am starting to have clients buying and selling Bitcoin for investment purposes. It would be useful to use SecTAX to record the purchases and sales. However, one Bitcoin is so expensive my clients only buy fractions of one Bitcoin. Could SecTAX be upgraded so that it would be possible to record less than one unit i.e., 0.0012345 for example.

  15. When bulk importing receipts (Bookkeeping > Cash Posting > CSV Import,) there isn't the option to include the source of them - other than CSV
    - So we cannot report on how the receipt came in e.g. BACS
    It would be great to be able to include this, or change it from CSV.

  18. Can a WIP Enquiry that includes "Child" display the company name as an option. Currently you can only choose the Company code, which is not helpful if you have a number of Child entities.

  19. On document Centre you shouldnt have to scroll or go through a number of pages. There should be an option to collapse or expand all folder.

  20. Can we have fields like telephone number, email address etc. available in the choose fields option - like we can on Clients? Also, the option to preview more information would be great
