  1. It would be useful to be able to have PDF's as a document template E.g. HMRC 64-8 'Authorising your agent' is a PDF document taken from the HMRC website and we need this in place for all clients.

  2. When creating a PDF from a document in the document center, the only prompt is for Assignment and Job, can it also default to the "File name" and "Type" of the original file being converted. We are having to change these fields later on. It would be ideal to get the normal profiling window so we can set this as needed at the same time.

  3. When rolling forward working papers are created and filed automatically in DM, however, there is no option to delete the WP in DM if we have to delete an accounting period, which does happen, so we end up having a duplicate set of WP in DM

  4. At present all computations are entirely independent, so changes to a prior year do not flow through to later ones. this means computations can get out of synch.

    It would be useful to have the option of carrying closing balances forward - ideally as a function in year one, so when you've changed that year you can cascade the changes onward.

    This has come up particularly as we have a new client where we are working on two years simultaneously, and now have to re-key all the provisions, capital allowances and so on in the later year. IT would also…

  6. Can the residential and service addresses of PSC's be included in the "Compare at CH" tab in the same way as Directors' details? This will allow us to confirm that they are also up to date .

  7. Add AddresseePref, AddresseeFirst, AddresseeMiddle, AddresseeLast name fields so letters can be addressed to specific addressees at companies without typing the prefix and name in.

  8. When opening a new assignment on a client it would reduce a lot of error if there was a pop up box to tell the user that other assignments on that client are set as Invoice and not RFP.
    We do have a report set up to monitor this but it can be too late if an assignment is opened and bill raised straight away.

  9. We have set different nominal codes for each assignment, however, this only appears as the default for our main company. If we set up a new assignment and change the company to one of our sister companies the default nominal reverts back to "Fees". It would be a lot less work, and leave less room for error, if we could set the default to carry through all of our companies.

  10. When filing a document in CCH and in the filing box, it would be better that when selecting the document type or assignment it would recognise more than the first character to allow ease for selection. For example in assignment if we wanted to choose Corporation Tax, the only 'quick' option is to type C in the box and scroll down. If it recognised the first say 3 characters we could type COR and it would save having to scroll down the list, which for document type is longer.

  12. When a new task code is created it automatically appears on any assignment template that uses codes and there ore has to be manually removed from those assignments that do not need/want that particular code. It would better if we were able to filter the addition of tasks just to the assignments we require.

  14. Prior to the new customer community being launched it was far easier to log calls and view the support area. I don't understand why I have to keep finding and adding a customer support username & password every time I want to use this, particularly when I am clicking on a link within central. We never used to have to. Why doesn't central identify me as a valid user without the need to keep adding a password - I have already used various passwords to use CCH.

    We are working on how we can resolve this to make it a more seamless log in experience.

    For now you can you use your browser to remember your log in and password credentials to enable a more seamless experience.

  15. With the increasing popularity of cryptocurrency, I am starting to have clients buying and selling Bitcoin for investment purposes. It would be useful to use SecTAX to record the purchases and sales. However, one Bitcoin is so expensive my clients only buy fractions of one Bitcoin. Could SecTAX be upgraded so that it would be possible to record less than one unit i.e., 0.0012345 for example.

  16. When bulk importing receipts (Bookkeeping > Cash Posting > CSV Import,) there isn't the option to include the source of them - other than CSV
    - So we cannot report on how the receipt came in e.g. BACS
    It would be great to be able to include this, or change it from CSV.

  17. When creating a PDF from a word document stored in the document centre the only option we have is to choose where this document is saved. It would be useful to have the option to give this PDF file a name or for it to at least retain the name of the document converting from. Upon creation of a PDF it then resets all of the search parameters in document centre, which means having to do the search again to locate the PDF created and to rename it, could it not retain the current search parameters?

  19. Can a WIP Enquiry that includes "Child" display the company name as an option. Currently you can only choose the Company code, which is not helpful if you have a number of Child entities.

  20. Can we have fields like telephone number, email address etc. available in the choose fields option - like we can on Clients? Also, the option to preview more information would be great
