  1. When the WF is used to generate emails, it would be useful to be able to copy in specific CCH users to notify them that emails have been sent to clients.

    The copied in users are then pre-warned that client may contact them regarding the email that has just been sent.

  2. I think it would be useful if you could change the order of Extra field groups and extra fields within the groups, I also think it would be useful if we could have extra fields that we can assign based on the entity of the client rather than being forced to have the extra fields on all clients

  3. When sorting documents by date we have them sorted with the latest documents at the top of the search list. However we note that if there is more than 1 document that day it puts the document with the most recent timestamp at the bottom of that date list. If sorting by date order then could the time in which saved/modified/uploaded follow the same logic with the most recent at the top.

  4. I would like any changes we have made to the order of the audit programmes to be reflected in the the combined audit programme, Currently the order is displayed by test type and not the same order as customise procedures.

  5. When trying to submit a return on the last day of the month it takes, in some cases, hours to pre-validate a return and then the same issue when trying to submit. Is there a way to speed this up?

  6. When finalising a year in accounts production the system locks the working papers so they can no longer be edited. However the document in working papers is linking to the document stored in the document centre which does not prevent edits being made to that document within here. Therefore the finalisation button and locking the working papers in accounts production is flawed. What would be good is that when finalising the documents are also automatically locked at the other end in the document centre at the same time so that you can view these as read only or be forced…

  7. Could you look into an issue I've been having recently where I can't generate PDFs of bills from the Bills Ready to Send section (either individually or in bulk)? I can generate PDFs of the same bill(s) if I go into each client individually in the Bills tab which is quite time-consuming if I have a lot to print.

    Generating PDFs from the Bills Ready to Send has always been possible until the last few weeks when error messages have been thrown up ("failed" and "unsafe macro") and our IT department has been involved without success. Unfortunately, I can't upload…

  8. When generating a "Smart Report" using the "Year End" date from the client "Main" tab the report presents the date in day and month format, but drops off the year.

    It would be useful for the report to also show the year so that a list of year ends can be generated when the clients accounts are not being prepared through accounts production.

    Seeing as the field on the "Main" tab does require a year to be entered I can only assume the report would need to be slightly adjusted.

    I appreciate that this year would need to be manually…

  9. It would be useful to be able to have PDF's as a document template E.g. HMRC 64-8 'Authorising your agent' is a PDF document taken from the HMRC website and we need this in place for all clients.

  11. In testing when configuring a windows user profile to redirect the Documents folder to OneDrive this will result in errors and the inability to check out/open documents from within AA.

    Adding support for OneDrive redirected profiles would be very useful

  14. We would like the option for all employees to appear in 'Employee Details' Smart Reports whether they've got an end date or not in their record. Further if an employee does have an end date on their account we'd want to also see that data on the report.

  15. We have had workflows terminate due to either an error on the database or with the steps on the workflow. What would be helpful is if a warning or notification box came up when a workflow terminated itself. Currently it just appears as if the task has completed and if the next step isn't assigned to the person completing the task on which it terminated then it isn't always obvious this is what has happened so could be missed.

  16. When creating a PDF from a word document stored in the document centre the only option we have is to choose where this document is saved. It would be useful to have the option to give this PDF file a name or for it to at least retain the name of the document converting from. Upon creation of a PDF it then resets all of the search parameters in document centre, which means having to do the search again to locate the PDF created and to rename it, could it not retain the current search parameters?

  17. When an assignment is closed you are then no longer able to search for it in the clients document centre.
    It would be good to be able to search for any assignment type in the document centre regardless of the status

  19. There is no way to include a document password in the document properties. When you create an extra field for a password this means that there is only one password whereas incoming documents could have a different password from outgoing documents. If there was the ability to enter the password in the properties section of the document then passwords could be document specific

  20. We would like the default delivery options - both for VAT invoices/bills and statements to be Email. Currently 'Post' is the default for all new clients - can we have a new config key so we can choose which option best suits our practice?
