  1. It would be useful to be able to enter a billing explanation during the billing wizard rather than having to exit and edit the bill amounts again to access the feature.

  2. As we use some customised job names we can't use the Roll Forward facility because you can't customise the algorithm. This would be useful in both saving time for regular jobs (ie monthly roll forward) and would ensure that the same format is being used by all staff

  3. Currently, the 'weekly' algorithm only allows you to choose Wk1 / Wk2 ... Wk 50 / Wk 52 etc. It would be more helpful if the algorithm could relate to a particular date e.g. 'week-ending' 4-Apr and it then repeated weekly by date moving forward.

  4. It would be great if name fields eg Assignment Partners, Assignment Managers, Partners, Managers, Client Name etc could be configurable so we can show it as Firstname Lastname not Lastname, Firstname as then it would match other systems

  5. Currently AP brings the main headings into the P&L as income and expense rows, but each item of expenditure is entered as an analysis item instead of a child row. This means that we are unable to add analysis of items on the DPL for the tax comp.

    For example, an Entertainment cost could contain both allowable and disallowable items. Before we used the AP link we would show the Entertainment cost as a child row in the DPL and then insert an analysis so the split for HMRC was clear. Now we link with AP we can no longer…

  6. We have few employees working from home and doing bookkeeping for us. They don’t have access to CCH. Now we want them to punch the timesheet as well on weekly basis. We want to do this by importing and exporting the timesheets on CCH. So, by this we have up to date timesheet for all of the clients and can create the invoices more accurately.

  7. Would like to hide some reports from the list available to use
    eg debtor statements has 9 listed but would only like to show the two we currently use
    Aware we can delete them but they may be of use at a later date, a few have MYOB & CCH which may use as a template in future too

  8. Allow documents to be created via "create" button from the global document centre onto clients/into client library rather than requiring you to go into the client first, navigate to the client document centre tab first - if nothing else being able to open a identical screen that doesn't let you add something to the client library is a bit confusing.

  9. Please add Bulk Update ability to close old jobs eg. Personal Tax assignment --> Job 2023.

    This request was possibly another UserVoice request called "Delete Job" raised in May 2020 which was marked as COMPLETED on 18/01/24 - does this mean we can do this? Can we otherwise have a script for doing this please? Thanks!

  10. When generating a "Smart Report" using the "Year End" date from the client "Main" tab the report presents the date in day and month format, but drops off the year.

    It would be useful for the report to also show the year so that a list of year ends can be generated when the clients accounts are not being prepared through accounts production.

    Seeing as the field on the "Main" tab does require a year to be entered I can only assume the report would need to be slightly adjusted.

    I appreciate that this year would need to be manually…

  11. It would be helpful to be able to add the Word Developer functionality when designing/editing templates - ie.dropdown choice boxes and paragraph content control boxes.
    Alternatively optional paragraphs added to the template -triggered by the clients data or choices chosen by the user

  12. I'm not sure if others experience this issue but when entering accrued income allowances on the foreign pages of a personal return, these simply show as interest on the schedules which can be confusing to clients.

    For example, I have a client who has interest of £22.50 and accrued income allowance of £14.42. On the schedules both figures appear to be positive so it looks as though they show £22.50 + £14.42 = £8.08.

    The actual return is correct, but if the schedules could indicate which items are allowances and that they are a deduction it would be clearer for…

  13. It would be easier if we could use keyboard shortcuts for the 'admin' side of Central. For example, using Ctrl & backspace and Ctrl * C/V - these currently do not work and instead you get little squares.

  14. The option to choose a recipient should be a feature on all entities, at present this can't be done for individuals where they are type "Other person". It's not always the case that the email is going to the primary email address which is likely to be that of the individual, you could be sending documents to an associated contact of the individual eg stockbroker/solicitor

  15. Can we have an extra field for cash book payments? At the moment all payments have the same narrative as what is typed in the description box but if you are wanting to split the payment to different nominals, it would be good to have an extra field so each transaction has more detail.

  16. Partnerships - Foreign Tax on Foreign Dividends - the income pulls onto the individual partners returns but the FTC does not, it then has to be added manually to the individuals return. This really should be pulling through

  18. . It would be good to link the billing support documents (i.e. the random spreadsheets and wip reports) to a bill in such a way that they are accessible from the bill workflow and the billing tab? It would need to be possible to attach them after the bill was posted (e.g. as they were scanned in).

  19. We send annual emails or letters to our clients for tax investigation services. It would be useful to be able to set up an email template and then attach the invoice.

  20. I think it would be useful to be able to run a report similar to "by month billing report" that shows how much WIP you are billing, writing off and carrying forward on a draft bill.
