  1. When needing to send standard forms for completion (64-8 or new payroll starter for example), there is no option to add from the practice library within the attaching function of a OneClick message. This means you either have to add a blank copy into the client DM (waste of disk space) or save outside of CCH to add (risk having an old version of the document). It would be easier to either:
    a) Add publish to OneClick button from the practice library
    b) have the option within add attachment on OneClick message to add from practice library

  2. Although CCH PT will calculate the AA taper via the pensions tax charge entry, if an entry is made the Ai pages are generated with nothing on them. Often we wish to just track the AA and there is no charge to report.
    Can a fully functional AA calculator be introduced? We used Digita before CCH and they had a great tool that would work out the AA/taper/charges, etc.
    Also assisted with planning without having to keep separate records.

  3. When trying to preview and print and entire set of working papers all pages appear in a portrait format, even if they are a landscape document in the working papers originally. For example the Fixed Asset Register report from CCH itself prints in a landscape orientation but when this is included in the working papers full preview, the edges of the document are cut off and your not able to view all the information. There is no function to then turn the page orientation either.

  5. When bringing forward balances on entering a client portfolio there is no space to include the cash residue that has been b/f. We have been advised to manually add extra shares - this means that the portfolio is not technically correct. Can this please be added to give a correct position on the client's portfolio? Ta

  8. Is there any way where emails created from CCH Central can include an encryption option? Currently, we use Egress in Outlook, however in CCH, that function seems to be nor available when an email is generated from CCH.

  9. There are currently only two genders (Male/Female). Please could you arrange for this to be expanded so that we can fit our clients into the correct description? As this is a protected characterstic under the Equality Act we would like this to be implemented ASAP.

  10. I NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTES TO MAKE DM MORE PRACTICAL!!!

    Currently when an email is received from a client by user1 who file the email in DM and then forward the same email to use2 (without making any changes), the email is filed again automatically. If user2 then forward it to user3 to action, this email is filed again. User3 will respond to the same email to user2 who will then respond to user1 once the work have been completed.   11. We currently use two different leave types to manage TOIL as previously recommended - TOIL Accrued (negative entries) and TOIL Taken (positive entries). However, users are only able to drill in to the results of the TOIL Taken (positive entries) on their Leave Entitlement dashlet in the same way that they can drill in to their Holiday (positive entries) on this dashlet.

    Can a change be made to enable users to drill in to the results on all leave types regardless of whether the total balance is positive or negative? This would really help to improve our users experience of…

  12. When using the 'Calender Entry' settings for timehseet weekly completion the totals at the footer of the screen show the total time (hours or units depending on settings) worked for the week in progress.

    It would be very useful to also be able to see the total daily time, either by highlighting a specific day or showing the totals at the bottom of each day.

    This information is available when using 'Periodic Entry' so why not also 'Calender Entry'

  14. Wolters Kluwer / CCH do not support Microsoft365 for email notification for workflow steps.

    Considering Microsoft365 is the most widely used platform it make no sense why we cannot use it. Even WK/CCH internally is on this platform!

    I recently tried to introduce workflow email notification and found the to enable it you must put the credentials into a table within the back end of your SQL server, When dealing with support I have now been told I have done everything correct but 365 is not supported.

  15. On creating a mail merge document, as a huge number of clients do not have access to MS Word, can they be converted to PDF on creation to email out. Also it would be useful to be able to attach to an email template for bulk issue. Were advised by Support to raise the PDF creation.

  16. Currently, the 'weekly' algorithm only allows you to choose Wk1 / Wk2 ... Wk 50 / Wk 52 etc. It would be more helpful if the algorithm could relate to a particular date e.g. 'week-ending' 4-Apr and it then repeated weekly by date moving forward.

  17. We use the department filed in Central to distinguish our teams i.e. Large Audit, Small business, VAT, Payroll, Tax. This functionality would make workbooks more focused. To make it work at the moment we employ a batch update to an Extra field that sync with WB. This is a fudge workaround requiring regular team member intervention and time.

  19. Currently in order for a user to have access to change their central password or SMTP password( which is required to be able to send bills), they require a task permission that would give them access to ALL users passwords. Could a separate permission be used to allow them to edit these details on their own record but not other users?
