  1. We are now linking pdf files to clients via the Documents tab.
    There is currently no way to report on this, so there is no way to see which clints do or dont have the documents linked yet.
    we should be albe to report on any data we have entered into CCH.

  2. Its very difficult to track which email you have open if you have a lot of emails with the same or similar titles or many in a conversation

  3. Most documents scanned via a photocopier are signed accounts and tax returns that do not need to be OCR.
    Can the OCR be turned off and an OCR Tick Box option be added to the Homepage Document Inbox "Edit Details" window, much the same as the option when scanning from a desktop scanner?

  4. The scan quality can drop drastically when using the Scan function. This does not happen when the same pdf document is uploaded into DM directly.
    Can we have the ability to drag and drop pdf documents in the Scan area where we only want to use the splitting function and not the OCR function which reduces the quality please.

  5. So often I find that I want to file to the 'next year' job when it has not been created yet so have to abandon the document filing, go and create the job then back to filing. Would be great if we could create the job from the filing window.

  6. When bulk updating documents within a client specific DM tab, step 1 of the field chooser should not have client/contact/assignment/job all on one line, as we have to then select the client again. in most instances we are not changing the client it is a bulk update of assignment and jobs that are done regularly, especially in relation to AP and working papers. Can this therefore appear as a separate item like other things on step one of the bulk update screen. Requested by Fozia Muddassir from Reddy Siddiqui LLP

  8. Where a tax return or set of accounts is published to DM, have the ability to set the assignment it should be tagged to as well.

  9. Something that will prevent a lot of headache for your clients going forward! AutoSave will be enabled by default for a lot of people when migrating to new versions of Office, currently trying to upload or checkin when AutoSave is enabled does nothing.

  10. This would be particularly useful where a mail merge has been done and the incorrect or no assignment has been selected at the time of creation rather than having to update each individual document

  12. If a document is uploaded to multiple client codes and then a task is created, the task does not show up on task lists, only on the documents inbox.
    Tasks only show up on the task lists if a document is uploaded to one code, the task created and then the second client code added.
    This increases the likelihood of documents going missing as most staff only use the task list not the documents in box.
    We have 'lost' several documents as a result of this as staff do not always upload and add the task in the right order…

  13. Would it be possible to only display the most recent linked email in the main search results rather than every one? The previous emails can be seen by clicking on the link number in any case.

  15. At the moment any word documents added via the Documents tab is being saved as a .doc document. Would it be possible to change to save as .docx? Attach screenshot to illustrate.

  17. If using the save-as function to create a new document, the document ID does not dynamically update to the document id of the new document (currently it keeps the existing docuemnt id). Please would you make this function dynamic so it doesn't have to be manually updated. Thank you

  18. We are producing documentation that is leaving the company, being processed by clients and then returned. Can standard reports be bar coded, so when they are returned to the organisation, our scanning solution can recognise what the document is and file accordingly. Massive scope for time savings on this request.

  19. If a document is uneditable, you are uable to edit / use any properties, when the ability to view the Audit trail and Versioning (permissions permitting) would be extremely useful.

  20. DM template will only pick up the first assocation on a client when attaching a smart report and not the specified associated within the report. Please can it see multipy association and not the first one in the alphabet which usually is/has agent of...
