USER GUIDES
As a new user to CCH but nevertheless an experienced use of accounts and tax production software I expect to have to refer to user guides to learn how the process works in this application.
I could apply this following request to any of the modules.
Most of the CCH user guides I have read appear to be written by programmers for their fellow programmers and lack the clarity for a user in a real live environment.
My request is that all user guides should contain screenshot images of the processes to be used and followed as this will help ensure that the author has indeed followed the necessary steps they outline and thus avoid describing steps that either do not exist or are not possible.
The author should also sign off on the document to say they have tested the processes they have described and confirm they work.
Let’s leave CCH to address why this isn’t standard practice already.
