  1. The ability to collapse all assignments at once would make it a lot easier to find the one(s) you are specifically looking for inbetween th hundreds of line postings

  2. Why, once an invoice is created in CCH, doesn't the default highlight go to the most recently created invoice? It goes to the first invoice created in that day so you have to scroll up to the relevant invoice. It should default to the most recently created invoice - for more logical!

    Sorry for the rant but I'm doing loads of invoice and I keep having to scroll up!!

  3. When you create a new parent, where say, the current parent has had a name change or has been superceded, but has been included in group billing, the type is 'Adhoc' which does not allow you to delete the parent nor some of the 'children'. When you do, next time you access the client, it reappears as Adhoc, even though it has been changed to Standard. Could the default not just be 'Standard' with some sort of indicator that it has a parent or child relationship elsewhere?

  4. Include billing expanation in statement. Invoice date and number is included in the statement but there's no way to add any detail and the clients come back asking what each invoice relates to. As the billing explanation isn't an included field the only way to do this is generate statement in Word and then manually insert invoice detail for each entry

  5. A staff members hours remained the same but the shift pattern changed, this has then amended the hours required on previous timesheets including already posted & submitted timesheets. Very messy for looking back at timesheets as the hours worked don't match the hours required.

  6. When a bill is drafted with a write off a reason must be entered depending on system parameters. However it is impossible to edit this reason if it is an incorrect reason or you realise a new reason needs to be created in maintenance. This is when the bill is on draft so it all should be editable. The workaround of reducing the WO below the threshold, saving the bill, and then taking the WO above the threshold is really not a good workaround and can amend changing complex WIP allocations. Please can you look into this as it means…

  7. Add hours column to help with cilling descriptions, so you dont have to go elsewhere to run a WIP enquiry to get this info.

  8. . It would be good to link the billing support documents (i.e. the random spreadsheets and wip reports) to a bill in such a way that they are accessible from the bill workflow and the billing tab? It would need to be possible to attach them after the bill was posted (e.g. as they were scanned in).

  9. Whilst there is an option to start a workflow on the posting of a bill we would benefit from having an earlier start point when the bill is drafted so that it can be assigned to the appropriate staff member at the various stages.

    It would need to be only at the point of the draft invoice being ok'd and not automatically on the creation of the billing wizard as sometimes these are aborted.

    If it could follow into the 'Bill Posted' workflow that would be great but it it needed a new workflow created instead then that is not…

  10. Employee planner has recently been updated so the order of employees and employee categories is now alphabetical rather than by id number. Please can you add this as a setting or option in maintenance perhaps as we prefer the original setting. Thanks

  11. Since 2019.3 we now have displayed Ad Hoc entries on the group tab which are meaningless to the client. Historically we allocated a number of WIP entries to Est To Complete via a nil bill across multiple clients.

    Because of this we now have meaningless Ad Hoc Parent and Child references which we cannot remove.

    Please can we have the facility to remove these Ad Hoc entries as appropriate.

  12. We would like to be able to apply different payment terms to specific types of fees that we issue to clients such as payroll fees.

    It would therefore be really helpful if we could apply the payment terms / days at transaction level when raising an invoice (say in Stage One of the Billing Wizard) overriding any default payment terms / days that have been applied at client level.

    This will then really help with our credit control process some of which is now automated and free up even more of our credit controllers time.

  13. The latest update has change the amount of invoices on view when you go to the billing tab. You only see the last three invoices and need to scroll down to see any more. Before the last update you could see about 8 or more not sure why this has changed.
    Would like it put back, please.

  14. Since 2019.1 update, expenses and timesheets to approve are 2 different options. Previously they were available as 1 selection. Can an option be added to show both at the same time.

  16. I think it would be useful if, when filing an email or document, you could also update your time sheet at the same time so that the same description can be pulled through on both.

    As is stands we are duplicating time on these tasks.
