Introduce check out to OneDrive within AuditAutomation
Similar to the option available in Document Management within Central, the ability to check out documents from Audit Automation to OneDrive could be hugely beneficial.
This would provide access to real-time saving of documents, version history while editing, and any deleted documents would then be in the OneDrive recycle bin for recovery where necessary.
The option to set checkout to OneDrive as the default mechanism would be very welcome also.
6 votesThe capability to automatically and seamlessly check-in and check-out a document from Audit has been implemented as part of the cloud audit product, which will be going to beta later this year, and will be available from next year.
To be considered for the beta, please contact either contact me or your account manager.
Due to the closeness of the cloud product, this capability will not be implemented in CCH Audit Automation

Tasks & Appointments Homepage - Scrolls down when complete a task
Tasks & Appointments Homepage - Jumps down when you complete a task when sorted by Due Date (may do even when not sorted) - it is very frustrating and time consuming to keep scrolling up all the time. I understand that this is a known issue and believe there may be an ITS already raised for it ? Can we get it to stay at the top

Linking own created workflows to the Tax Return Status
We have created our own workflow for completion of ITR - why can we not link the Tax Return Status which was an old legacy system in with the new workflow? Ie on submitting a ITR why can't our created workflow auto update when the status auto updates Accepted by FBI on submission of an ITR?

Generate a Report of all the Trust and Estate clients on CCH.
We need to start begin able to generate a report of Trust and Estate clients on CCH. The only way to do this currently is to create an extra field called “Trusts and Estates” in the extra tab.

Bulk update of personal tax workflow from homepage
There is no way to select multiple clients on the homepage of personal tax workflow and update the step e.g. "Information requested" for the selected clients. It will only do it one by one. This is time consuming where a batch of information request have been sent out for example to Trust clients. Also it would be useful where we want to move steps along quickly for a group of partners or beneficiaries.

No 'Created by' when adding a new contact
There is no 'Created by' when creating a new contact therefore we do not have any record of the employee who has created the contact

Ability to detach tabs within a client
Within a client, we had the ability to detach the tabs, but this function is no longer there.
It was very useful to be able to detach a tab within a client by rightclicking and detaching. We used this to open the document centre tab on another screen, while doing work in AP or Tax returns so we could open supporting documents as needed without coming in and out of tabs. Please reinstate this functionality.

Facility to change the Client or Contact "Code"
Where an error is made when setting up a Client or Contact it is currently impossible to amend the Code. It would be really helpful if we could please.

Working Papers for Unincorporated Master Packs
We have an large number of Clients who are either Sole Traders or Partnerships, and the lack of an integrated Working Papers tool does make the accounts preparation process for this type of Client more inefficient. It would be good to see this on the development list and we would happily collaborate with you to share ideas on it.

Automatic tagging of prior period
When dragging and dropping tags very often the tag is only applied to the current year figure and not the comparative, this means it takes double the time when tagging in the detailed P&L where the software was unable to suggest a tag.
