ability to see multiple Extra details on the client search screen where "allow multiple" has been selected for the extra field
It would be great to be able to choose extra fields with "multiple" options on the client search screen. They could be displayed as "optionA, optionB, optionC" for example (with character limits if required).

Mandatory Field Settings : Client vs Contact Record
When setting up Extra Fields for a client or contact, we have the ability to mark them as mandatory. However, the application of the mandatory status is applicable to the entire field and not whether it is a Client or a Contact field. For example, you may want an "industry type" as mandatory for a client, but not for a contact however, you'd still want to capture that information in both types of records. USER GUIDES
As a new user to CCH but nevertheless an experienced use of accounts and tax production software I expect to have to refer to user guides to learn how the process works in this application.
I could apply this following request to any of the modules.
Most of the CCH user guides I have read appear to be written by programmers for their fellow programmers and lack the clarity for a user in a real live environment.
My request is that all user guides should contain screenshot images of the processes to be used and followed as this will help…

convert clients to contacts regardless of assignments
To convert a client to a contact instead of getting error "unable to do so because of assignments".
We still need to AML directors/shareholders of limited companies, who no longer have self assessment or wish to do their tax return themselves. Currently have to close the client and then create as a contact.2 votesThank you for submitting your idea to us!

Add Additional Employees on Tasks
We would like the ability to assign a Task to more than 1 employee. Currently only 1 employee can be assigned a task but can we have the possibility to add more than 1 person?

Integrate CCH Central/CCH iFirm into Office 365 so we can sync to Sharepoint
Would you like Wolters Kluwer to look at integrating CCH Central and/or CCH iFirm into Microsoft 365 so you can send documents directly to OneDrive and use that as a preferred document storage solution

Extra Field Groups in Database Fields
When you create a template in CCH which has database fields you are also able to see extra fields in this list.
If you put your extra fields in groups they no longer appear.

Email encryption
Is there any way where emails created from CCH Central can include an encryption option? Currently, we use Egress in Outlook, however in CCH, that function seems to be nor available when an email is generated from CCH.

Assignment Frequency & Algorithm
Currently, the 'weekly' algorithm only allows you to choose Wk1 / Wk2 ... Wk 50 / Wk 52 etc. It would be more helpful if the algorithm could relate to a particular date e.g. 'week-ending' 4-Apr and it then repeated weekly by date moving forward.

Can we have the abilty to add an Employee to the Partnership tab, currently we have to create an employee record and a contact record.

ITS 51077 MergeField not picking up values
The mergeField is not picking quiet few fields when creating documents that can be used as templates. One of the examples is the UTR mergefield is not being picked up and the end users have to keep typing the UTR everytime the standard letter is created which would have been pciked up automatically by the merge field. This is quite unproductive and frustrating.

Workflow homepage filters to be automatically added to colleagues' homepages
If I have edited my Workflow homepage control to remove a column such as deadline, and add another field from Field Chooser, such as tax year column instead, and my employee record is the ‘master’, when other employees go into their employee record and click on the homepage button to make them to same as mine, that change of fields isn’t coming through, they still get the deadline date and have to make those changes manually.

Ability to add custom algorithms or Ability to overtype standard job names
As we use some customised job names we can't use the Roll Forward facility because you can't customise the algorithm. This would be useful in both saving time for regular jobs (ie monthly roll forward) and would ensure that the same format is being used by all staff

Mail/email merge from report/smart report
When you run a report eg balancing descending this works, when you run the client list based on this report in order to mail merge, it creates the list in alphabetical format rather than by balance descending as the original report has done. In order to select a group of clients you need to be able to view both reports at the same time and scroll up and down to select your merge group
