How can we improve CCH Central Suite?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. File Maintenance back button

    A back button on file maintenance would be useful instead of having to access it again from the file menu each time.

    Drag in Extra Fields into Contact Search, Like you can with Clients already.

  3. Right click delete and split options

    Could consideration please be given to not have the “delete” and “split” options below each other on the right click option menu? Users have reported that they find it quite easy to delete when they meant to split a document. Maybe the “delete” option could be moved to the top?

  4. Ability to view users logged into the application at any given point in time

    Sometimes a backup may need to be done during the day due to some planned activity. I need to be able to see who is logged in to get them out. All communication may have been sent out, some users may not remember and still be entering data. Then if a restore has to be done they would have lost any work entered during that time.

    Given that the software is on-premise and hosted in your local environment, it is not possible for the software to recognise active users.


    This will be considered as part of the development of our cloud solution.

  5. It would be easier if we could use keyboard shortcuts for the 'admin' side of Central. For example, using Ctrl & backspace and Ctrl * C/V

    It would be easier if we could use keyboard shortcuts for the 'admin' side of Central. For example, using Ctrl & backspace and Ctrl * C/V - these currently do not work and instead you get little squares.
